Hi guys!
I recently signed up for MFC, yet have been afraid to go live because I realized my internet connection sucks . I would really like to get started so I can slowly build up a fan base, but I am just so worried my live shows will be choppy.
I called my internet provider, as well as couple others in the area, and it seems that I have the fastest I can get where I live... which is not exactly in a city. At the moment here are the stats based on Speedtest.net:
PING: 67ms
Download: 1.26 Mbps
Upload: 0.86 Mbps
I use WiFi on my Mac and was planning on starting out with just my built in camera. I was wondering if a thunderbolt adapter connected to Ethernet would help speed? What else I can do in this situation, besides wait until I move (which could be a while)?
