Donations on Twitch?

For any girls that are regular on Twitch...

How do you receive donations?
I was told it's pretty strict in Paypal's awesome realm that you're not allowed to have any association with adult work, well... more like if they find out you're involved in it, even if you've never accepted an adult-related transaction on Paypal, they'll suspend your account indefinitely.

I saw someone on MFC with tens of thousands of followers have their paypal linked up through twitchalerts.
I'm just wondering if there's some loophole to where you don't get busted??


Or am I just mistaken about Paypal's banhammer power in general?

I don't do twitch, but that's true re: PayPal.
I almost got my account banned because of an old email address I had linked to it, even though I don't use paypal for payments (I mostly just buy stuff on ebay, lol).
They suspended and unsuspended me three times in a row, on Christmas day (!), for recieving a money transfer from my ex-boyfriend. It got flagged as a payment for "adult services", and they iced the account. I had to argue with them about it over email and on the phone multiple times until they finally unfroze it for good. It was pretty ridiculous.

So, yeah, I wouldn't risk that.

I would probably just accept eGiftcards, but that doesn't help you if you want to pay the bills.

Many twitch donations go through a third party.

Twitch users pay the third party, the third party pays you.

As long as your paypal is only used for those payments, and never ever for adult payments, you're fine.

The people donating to you will never see your PayPal account information. They will pay the third party, and the third party pays you. Your personal info and paypal account is anonymous.

I see lots of people successfully use StreamTip.

Thanks for the response! I loop around in ideas of how I could be found out, but this actually makes me stop and say, "Oh yeah..."

No email address being revealed for Paypal, paid through third party, no ban.
