Re: Photo retouching

The techniques I used were all really simple, it was a mix of:-

Duplicating the layer and adding a Gaussian blur (amount depends how big the image is) to it to get the right skin tone, then mask this layer. Erase all the features(like face etc) using a soft brush using a low opacity.

Choose ur original layer and use:
The 'Healing brush' to get rid of spots and blemishes.
Use the 'Smudge' tool with a very low opacity of between 5% and 15% to smooth out the skin tone using a small soft.. make sure you pay attention to deail and dont use a large brush unless you are 'smuding' large areas'

Then really just use the 'color tool', 'dodge tool', and 'sharpen tool etc to define and shadows/highlights.

A useful tutorial is:

http://abduzeedo.com/perfect-lie-photoshop-2 (really simple tutorial which i used alot)

and a collection of various tutorials:

EDIT: I forgot to add its all about getting the highlights and shadows right, otherwise it will be easy to spot as 'photoshopped' (I'm not expert btw)

I feel like her hair is a tad flat as there aren't as many sexy curls coming out, but I love it!

Yea hair is always tricky to paint and look life like, I may work on that some more thanks for pointing it out,

Re: Photo retouching

That's really good, you made an amateur shot look professional at a glance.

Careful with the skin though, it can end up looking plastic.

Re: Photo retouching

Also for a bit of fun I can do a realistic photo of you with your favourite idol/celeb.

Like this one, again for Louna.

Re: Photo retouching

How much do you usually charge to retouch? (For when the first five have messaged...)

To be honest I doubt I'll charge for a while until/if i start getting a lot of interest.

The only reason I limited it to 5 for now is because I don't have a lot of spare time at the moment.

Still 3 spots left
