D.C. Politician Pushing for Decriminalization of Sex Work

While I'm not overly hopeful about this being passed, if it were successful, I think it would set a great precedent for the rest of the country.

IIRC, this is the same guy that introduced the bill decriminalizing weed in DC, and he's been talking about decriminalizing prostitution for awhile. I'm glad to see him moving forward with it! I feel like a few powerful people in this country might breathe easier. Obviously they'd still have a scandal if the public caught wind of any activities, but at least their favorite ladies wouldn't have any sort of customer list taken in as evidence. Hopefully it passes before we're all elderly...

I just recently noticed that they're now requiring escorts on Backpage to link their personal Facebook/Instagram/etc. pages (in addition to having to pay $5 to post the ad) to their ads. Smh...
