Cryptocurrencies, not being suited as currency, nor all that crypto anymore, aren't viable as means of payment for legitimate services. They're fine as speculative investments, and some people have done very well with them, but they're far too volatile to be taken seriously as micro-payment options. What's more, it can take a while to cash out, so that volatility can hurt your earnings at a time like now when BTC dropped 20% in a few days, even though it's climbing back up. Unless you're like Pornhub and have no other options, that is. Cryptocurrencies in their current form are basically gambling.
