I searched through quite a few threads and didn't find an answer so posting here.
When using crazy ticket and setting a token goal amount do purchased tickets go towards the goal amount, or are they counted separately?

The goal is supposed to be met by selling tickets... the whole point is to make sure you have a big enough audience for your show. People are less likely to buy tickets if there is a goal for fear that it wont be met and they will lose their tokens, but if you have some dedicated followers and you will do something special on the show they might tip extra to get the goal met if there aren't enough tickets sold to make it happen. My advice is to not use the goal thing unless you are confident you will sell enough tickets to cover it.

All the tokens count to the goal.

You can run the goal separately, just explain the goal, I think is the right way. Most people do it that way and they don't cancel the hiden show if they do not reach the goal because you can reach the goal with a lot of 1 tokens tips for example. (nobody have tickets but the goal is reached).

Supposedly the tesbed is only for programmers but anyone can use it to test an app or bot. You can copy the code of a chaturbate application and create an application with it in the testbed to see how it works. You can make 2 accounts, one for run the app and other for tip with fake tokens. Just use a private window in your navigator to run the second account.
