Does anyone here watch couple cams?

Is it just me or is it weird when the guy is just sitting there, staring at the screen while he touches himself, and his partner is talking to the room?

I'm thinking over the idea of camming as a couple on Streamate, but I'm not quite sure what we should do to make it successful. I know what I would want from a couple cam, but I'm a lot more simple in my needs than most, so what does Joe Public want from a couple cam?

I suggest finding some of the most popular cam couples and watching them as much as you can - paying for a show or two might not be a bad idea either.

I don't watch couple cams, not out of any bias, I just don't happen to. I think one thing that causes some couples to not be as successful is exactly what you said - one person is doing all the work and being active, while the other is just behaving as a puppet. I have also found that even in non-couple rooms, if there is a guy working the cam and interacting with the room, it's boring and weird.

So I think your own suggestion about being active and not just sitting about like a warm-blooded dildo is a good place to start.

When I started camming, I both looked at the highest-earning models and the lowest earning models. I didn't copy what they did, but I noticed very common traits that successful models had, and very common traits that unsuccessful models had, and I emulated successful models. I know it sounds a touch silly (it sounds like you're the male counterpart here?) but if you just watch successful, high-earning models, you can copy their techniques (movement, equipment, conversation, lighting) and fill it in with your own personality.

I think the best way for me to go about it would be to interact with room discussions, but leave the comments on the goals and what we'll do to my fair lady.

I've boy/girl cammed on Streamate in the past. The guy I was camming with tho couldn't handle the 'bb' types and then applauded me for what I go through every day, haha. But anyways...

I suggest sticking to gold shows or exclusives only. Maybe get your feet wet in some fetishes if you desire. I say this because Streamate is a very busy site..esp for couples that actually speak English because there is NOT a lot of them, which puts you at an advantage. That also means jumping in and out of premium/group chat non-stop and having to remain hard that whole time. It can be exhausting...especially because the members want to pay for HARDCORE fucking. Cumshots are THE shit in boy/girl camming, and can be literally impossible to deliver all the time.

I think it is better for the girl to interact to the guys on cam more in free chat. Plus, the guys LOVE to say shit about the guy...you know, typical sociopath in the mom's basement who is jealous so he needs to rip apart. Haha. My guy maybe jumped in with a comment every now and then, but was in no way full of himself or egotistical--and also was not 'rude.' Keep in mind that b/g camming is very different from solo, trolls are their busiest....be prepared to hear a lot of um..interesting comments, towards your girl and you. Don't feed them, ignore or block, and they will quickly go away.

All in all though, it was a fun experience. . . and good paychecks. We charged 6.99/8.99 and were pretty damn busy for the short time we worked. It's ALWAYS more fun to cam with somebody else, just be prepared. .it can be quite a rollercoaster out there!

That's exactly right. My husband and I perform on cams but I mostly do solo shows. We probably do 2 to 3 shows a day together. Most of the guys just want me. We have a few very dedicated guys that come around to see us fuck but none of them have ever asked to talk to my husband or even see him before we go private. We watched a bunch of models before we started and the couples thing just doesn't seem to play that well. I wish someone would want to see him eat me for once though you know? But nooo it's just suck him every time. Sigh,,,
