I am not a SW, livestreamer, or adult content creator. I come from the consumer side as opposed to the supply side. But I would like to ask cam models their thoughts about PornHub, both in general, but also specifically in regards to how it works for content creators.
I do a small niche-based podcast where I discuss mature matters like art and adult entertainment (porn). I've been doing it for two years and change now. In the past I've had on independent SWers, livestreamers, adult content creators from MyFreeCams ... Though half of the episodes have been with non-SWers, such as artists, some YouTubers, and indie comic book artists.
One guest I had on is Jon Kolbek, the video game designer of 1-2-3 Slaughter Me Street and YouTube creator of a very interesting YouTube channel "Odd Stories for Odd Children." He's pitched his YouTube show to adultswim a number of times but they don't get it. Meanwhile, YouTube has been demonetizing his videos and shadowbanning him.
On twitter, I suggested he consider moving his channel to something like PornHub. Kind of as a joke. But also kind of seriously as well. It's a non-sexualized mature satirical channel about demonic puppets. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but, speaking personally, I find it brilliant.
With that all said: Is there anyone reading this post who deals with PornHub, maybe makes some of their content available and uses it as a revenue stream? If so, would you be open to possibly coming onto the podcast to discuss this matter further and answer questions about how PornHub works and what they allow or do not allow. Can it be used as a revenue stream for original content or not? etc ... And even to talk about your own trials and tribulations with how the internet may take away your revenue streams as a SWer.
The name of the podcast is Dionysian Dialectics. It's a small niche podcast, so I can't guarantee exposure to thousands and thousands of people if that's what you'd prefer (because of course you'd also be allowed to promote anything you want to of your projects if you came on). But I am on SoundCloud and available in iTunes and I can promise a quality discussion. Btw, the name Dionysian Dialectics comes from the Greek god of wine/and all things outside of the norm (I get asked a lot).
You can find it by doing a quick simple Google search. The SoundCloud archive which hosts all the past episodes will come up if you just want to sample part of an episode to vet this post and the podcast I'm talking about. And though I do not have a massive following, I would add that the relatively small following I do have is international.
So if you're seeing this post and this is something you have knowledge on and would consider coming onto a (small) podcast to discuss it further and offer your insight on a discussion about Pornhub and "the future of the internet" now that YouTube is demonetizing everything for everyone -- putting many people in the same boat indie adult performers like MFC & CB models have been in already -- please, just e-mail me: alexanderquaresma@gmail.com or Twitter DM me (@SavageSteamboat) and we can get into possibly setting up a day and time if all of the other details about how it would happen are agreeable to you. If talking on a podcast isn't your thing but you have some info you can just post here, that would also very much be appreciated as well. Muchas gracias.
