I think over the past few years, conspiracy theories about our corrupt government have become more popular then ever.

What are your thoughts? Do you think the government really is out to get us?
If so, then what are you doing to prepare yourself?

If you don't believe in conspiracy theories, Please explain why?

LMAO that was funny. I'm not sure if such conspiracy exist. But please enlighten me, if you've heard any. I'd love to hear them :D

A camgirl conspiracy theory I have is thinking maybe MFC manipulates the camscores of certain models. I find it suspicious when sometimes models who never had very good camscores, appear at a convention representing MFC for a couple hours, then seemingly overnight their score goes up a ridiculous amount. And nobody who was watching her then knows how it happened, they didn't see the tips or the reaction a model would normally have upon receiving that much. :shifty:

MFC does not manipulate camscores. There's an insane amount of exposure that comes from conventions and from the promo videos that are released where models get mentioned/interviewed.

Every time I see "conspiracy theory" on this forum I think that maybe, just maybe, that long-awaited (and much-discussed on this forum) book will have been released... :shifty:

This makes me feel like a veteran camgirl, because I know exactly what you're talking about.

(I'm pretty much never in the know about anything, if you couldn't tell. )

The moon landing is real: FACT
Professional wrestling is real: FALSE
Elvis is alive and spent all these years secretly working undercover as an FBI agent who's fake name was Frank Burrows; currently living in Odessa, Texas as a retired pipe fitter: that shit is fo' REAL!

I love debating/talking conspiracy theories. Yes I believe there are some....Marilyn Monroe's death, JFK assassination and the current war are great examples! However I think alot of conspiracy theories are people getting some not all of their facts in a situation and making inferences.

I'm a total conspiracy theory fan. And I for one believe in most of it. I've heard multiple politicians and presidents mention NWO, martial law, and how it is very real. What I can never wrap my mind around is, how did religion get involved? All I hear my church buddies talk about is how this is the devils work as to why society is so messed up. Do not understand why your blaming the devil. I'm pretty sure those people who run this would like credit for themselves lol.

My only cam girl conspiracy is, when you see a brand new model move so high up in ranks so quickly. How does that happen? You see models all over this thread talking about how hard it is and it could take a year or longer to get up to the top. But at least every month, I see a new model just shoot right up there like a rocket. Weiiirrrrdddd.

Is it unlikely, yes. But unless you have worked there as an administrator for the entire existence of the site, and had the responsibility of overseeing the camscore system, that is not a statement of fact. That is an opinion. If they publicly listed a changelog of all the times the camscore formula has changed over the years, what was in it, and why it was changed; so it could be mathematically checked then I'd believe it. I'm still skeptical there hasn't ever been any suspicious activity. At least to the effect of when a fantasy sports commissioner in a custom league makes small changes to the stats to benefit their own draft strategy. It wouldn't be difficult at all to make certain models appear near the top of the site that they most want representing their brand. With how many businesses now days are involved in shady forecasting, investing, etc... it wouldn't surprise me at all if a cam site also engaged in such activity.

I would say that this is incorrect. Professional Wrestling is definitely real. Scripted, sure, but it's a very real form of physical acting.

It's real enough that wrestlers have a contractual obligation to be in-character at all times.

actually there is a mathematical formula that can be very easily followed. I use it quite a bit myself.

About the camscore manipulation thing...

There is precedent. When they had the porn stars, they artificially inflated their scores to put them at the top of the front page. But, they didn't touch the scores later, and the porn stars mostly fell pretty damn fast when they had to rely on tips.

About the newer models getting awesome camscores right away... the new model tag works wonders! Also, the camscore is an average of the last sixty days. But, if you only worked one day, then it's just your average for that one day. Which means the first day, everything that happens counts more than any other day. Each day after that, the average is diluted a bit more, so it's not as wild of a ride. By the time you've worked 60 days, one good day just isn't as awesome any more.

So, new model has that new model tag and members who sort by experience get funneled into their rooms. Thus, they get more members, more chances to find a whale. Any big tips count far more for them than for a model whose camscore is already low, because it doesn't get diluted down by the poor camming hours from the previous 60 days.

Example: say a model gets 100 tokens an hour usually. For the past 60 days, her average was 100 tokens an hour. Let's say she usually works 8 hours, to make a total of 800 tokens a day. One day, she gets a very lucky hour. For that one hour, she gets 10000 tokens. The other seven hours, she gets her normal 100, giving her 10700 tokens for that day! But, that has to be averaged in with the other 59 days where she only made 100 an hour.

59 days * 8 hours / day = 472 hours * 100 tokens / hour= 47200 tokens + 10700 tokens = 85600 tokens for the month, instead of her usual 48000 tokens.

She worked the normal 60 days, 60 days * 8 hours / day = 480 hours

85600 tokens / 480 hours = 178.3333333 tokens per hour.

Now say a different model is on her first day. She works the same 8 hours, and has the same 10700 tokens at the end of it. but, it's her first day, so it's just 10700 / 8 = 1337.5 tokens per hour

178 tokens per hour for the established model, vs 1337 tokens per hour for the newbie, both of them with the exact same earnings in the exact same time frame.

This is why it's so hard to come back from an established horrible camscore. One hour in which she made one hundred times the amount she normally made didn't even double her average tokens per hour for the 60 days. Means her camscore will be about three quarters bigger than it was before (take her original camscore and multiply by 1.78 to find out what her new one will be.) If the model was below 1000, then that's not going to be a very big jump.

It's real enough that wrestlers have a contractual obligation to be in-character at all times.
I don't think anyone argues that...that big time wrestling showcases the athleticism of some very strong men. But by that logic movies are real. My only real question is, why do fans get so upset when people say it's fake? When I see two or more fans discussing wrestling, they do it in the same way that fans of soap operas discuss the characters--as if it's real! In years past, I've heard of instances of soap opera fans running into soap opera actors in super markets and accosting them--as if they really are the evil characters they play.

Although I think John Stossel is a bit of a shithead, there was no justification for David Schultz assaulting him, when Stossel asked him to admit it's fake.

Not sure, I have to admit that I'm not a fan of it myself, but my brother used to be and we always watched matches together. I guess for me it's because I don't like to see the word fake attached to something that obviously has a lot of work going into it. The difference between this and movies is that in movies, physical stunts usually end up with whoever performed it on a mattress. Wrestlers don't, you see Andre the Giant bodyslam someone, they still have Andre the fucking Giant land on top of them, y'know?

I guess I just like to point out that, even though the fights are scripted, I don;t necessarily feel it's not "real".
