So I have done a lot of research about cam models who cosplay. I have also looked at models who have cosplay pages. I'm hoping of getting some advice about something I have been pondering for a while now...

How do you go about combining the cosplay community and camming community?

I typically keep my cosplay fans and my camming fans separate and have been for over a year now. A lot of my regs know I cosplay and have a cosplay page and a patreon (some of them even pledged one it, I also made a special tier for camming content). I have just started to slowly mention on my patreon about camming, but I am very unsure of combining my cosplay and camming. I have seen a lot of models do it and have been successful because of their cosplays. I love cosplay and dedicate a lot of time to it, but sometimes it gets very stressful trying to maintain cosplay and camming separately.

I guess I was looking for advice if I should expose my camming more on Patreon/Cosplay page. Also, how I can promote better of my cosplay towards my camming following?

Heh, also if some of you are wondering what my cosplay links are...

All right, I will bite. I've been cosplaying for years, and this year my plan is to cosplay under my cam name in the name of sweet, sweet self-promotion. I don't really see cosplaying as a money-making gig for myself in itself, but I and another fetishy lady are planning on doing stuff for Megacon/a few other large conventions as some popular characters and promoting ourselves under our business names. I woulndn't expect an immediate return off it, but it is solid marketing, especially if you choose characters within your target cam demographic, make business cards, and promote yourself on social media heavily.

I never had a huge following in my vanilla cosplay life as I never really promoted it, but if you are comfortable linking the two, do it.

I cosplay but I tend to keep cosplaying and camming separate because a lot of people I know irl follows my cosplay life. I was accepted to Cosplay Deviants but I never got published. What I want to do though is film some cosplay clips and sell them lol

Am I the only one noticing the rise of "go to my pateron and I'll send you sexy pics" and then not calling themselves a sex worker/bashing sex workers?

I started cosplaying because of camming, and I doubt I'm alone. If you feel safe, you can totally cross promote on social media. I'd keep any nudity off your cosplay accounts, though, and you should probably declared them 18+ just to be safe. A lot of cosplaying cam models sell clips, and that's how they gain popularity (I personally haven't filmed any yet, though).

I would avoid mentioning anything about camming on patreon, though, cause their payment processors are not sex worker friendly.
