For some reason I can't post a link or pictures about what happened to her, but if anyone deserves a world class ass beating it would be that War Machine character. Want to beat someone up, motherfucker? Don't lay your hands on a helpless female you son of a a bitch, come look me up. Even with a prosthetic leg, I can promise you that you'll take the very last breath of your worthless fucking life. You are a sorry sack of shit and the world would be a better place without you. Wanna be a big, bad man? Step up to a veteran...a little hint asshole, it's been done before and I'm still here.

Dog the Bounty Hunter is after him.

Okay, good that someone other than the police are chasing him down. I'm giving him an open invitation, take I-10 east and I'll meet him at the Alabama state line. He's a worthless piece of shit. I'd never heard of Christy Mack until yesterday, didn't know she was in porn or anything else about her. But I saw those photos and my blood boiled...god, there's just some things you just do NOT do. Nobody had to teach me not to lay a hand on a girl, I just know that you don't. And if my opening and holding a door open for you insults you then guess what? Be prepared to be insulted. What's become of common courtesy and decency and respect for a woman??? Why the he'll do you go so batshit crazy that you beat a girl within an inch of her life?

Sorry, SORRY waste of a human life and and an air stealer...

This is an honest question, not at all intended to offend, but: am I the only one who is uncomfortable with threats of violence like this, even if it is to someone who beat a woman?

I get wanting to give the guy a "taste of his own medicine." I get how much it makes your blood boil to see something that horrible. The photos were heart breaking. I agree that what this man did was horrible and inexcusable. I hear comments like this from my male partner too, about wanting to physically harm, or kill people who beat women.

I guess - besides possibly killing the person, and therefore having them not exist to beat people anymore- I'm not sure how violence would solve violence related problems. If anything, wouldn't there be a greater chance of perpetuating more violence?

I'm genuinely curious if it makes anyone else uncomfortable. Since I see comments like this quite often, I wanted to speak up about it. Again, I hope I'm not offending anyone with my questions or opinions.

EDITED TO ADD: that I do hope he serves time for his crimes.

I definitely will be glad to see him caught. His post-beating tweets are a pretty classic example of the way abusers justify their actions/make themselves the victims. The comments made (especially by women) suggesting that the victim could have prevented this or shoulders some of the blame are horrifying. Is anyone else a bit disgusted with the Dog the Bounty Hunter twist, though? Like, if you can go find the dude and take him in to face what he's done, great! I, and most of society, will be happy to see it and grateful to you. But, it's like they've made some machismo pissing match out of the busting up of this girl. Tacky.

Honestly, I'm not surprised - he's a bounty hunter with a TV show and there's a 10K USD reward (so far) for information that gets this bastard arrested, so I would be surprised if he didn't jump on this (specially for the press, as I assume that Dog is PR-savvy enough to donate any rewards he gets out this arrest to entities that help victims of abuse). Disgusting, yes. But at least it means there's more people actively looking for this guy and that hopefully justice will be served soon.

According to Dog's statements he was asked by personal friends of hers to find him. Publicized or not, Dog has found some of the most wanted people before. I recall reading that he even followed a serial rapist(who was also heir to the Max Factor fortune) to mexico and had even gotten himself jailed there before returning the dude to the US for prosecuting. Either way, its a good thing in some ways he has brought more attention to the incident as there will be that many more people alerted to it and thus giving more chance of someone coming forward with information. I can't help but keep thinking about her the past few days. Regardless of who she is or what she does, she's a person. I am horrified and disturbed deeply and just keep sending my thoughts and well wishes toward her. Despite the physical injuries sustained, the mental and emotional scars are yet to be seen and will no doubt be the hardest to overcome. Even now, imagine trying to get past the ordeal for even a minute of the day with it evident every time you look in the mirror that you were so betrayed, violated, and disregarded as a human being. Ouch. :(

Pretty scary stuff. If this guy didn't have a history, I would normally suggest wait until all the facts come out before we run the guy's name through the mud, but it seems he's taken care of that nicely himself.

related side note:
I saw on Twitter people were re-tweeting some group that was taking donations to "help with her medical costs and fight against domestic abuse"

Do your research people, don't blindly donate with your emotions. There are tons of people out there that will happily take advantage of a situation like this to steal your money.

While im sure dog is going to gleefully eat up the pr on this...

-he's drawing a hell of a lot of attention to this. I can only imagine that will help find the guy. It lends legitimacy to christy and to the bounty.

I found some of his tweets super tacky till a friend who is a sometime bounty hunter/dislikes dog immensley poimted out that they may be trying to piss this guy off enough to draw him out. It seems to be his thing to not look like his idea of a coward. I think they may be mouthing off this much publically specifically as a tactic.

My 2c

(Full disclosure ...dog the bounty hunter is my guilty pleasure. Im madly in love with him.)

Never heard of the guy, but just read some of his blog.

The oppression of MEN is worse than oppression of Jews in Nazi germany, worse than the slavery of Blacks in early America... I'm not exaggerating either. Every Jew & every Black man, both in jail and those who have managed to avoid it, will attest to what I have just wrote.

So it's Christmas day and I'm laying in my bunk wondering "Why in the hell do American men get married!?" As I write this, there is one guy in here for slapping his wife, one here for yelling at his wife, and one here for beating some guy's ass that disrespected his wife. WTF!? If your wife is being a bitch you can't slap her, if your wife is yelling at you, God forbid you yell back, and if some asshole hurts your wife, you can not protect her! LMFAO! What in the FUCK! is REALLY going on!? Next thing you know it will be illegal to fuck your wife!

If you have a hammer all problems look like nails, all he seems to have had was muscles.

Encoded in, "All political negotiations and peace talks have fell on deaf ears, so we will now commence a military campaign," is "they wouldn't cower to our verbal threats (to do what we want) so now we're gonna fuck them up, as once again violence is the only REAL answer to any problem." And ANY one who reads this and preaches against this is just fucking WEAK and a COWARD and you hide behind your words, for only one reason: words always have been, and always will be, your ONLY option. But when you were a lil' boy... and even now in your dreams at night... you're a bad-ass, a real tough guy... a cowboy, a gladiator, a fighter pilot, a Navy SEAL, a professional athlete. So why don't you swallow your shame and be a REAL man for once, and give the country back to REAL MEN and admit! I'm right! And DO SOMETHING to help us! This country has gone SO SOFT that it has left us helpless.

Decided to finally look up the idiot's twitter name. Set up a column with all the mentions to it in tweetdeck. Now I'm depressed there are so many fucking stupid people in this world still supporting him.

@WarMachine170 Hang in there champ. I truly believe in my heart your innocent. Don't give up soon you and Christy will be together.

Yeah, that tweet pretty much summed up the intelligence level of the many deluded people posting support messages.

He's already admitted to doing it on his own twitter. It won't even go to trial now if his lawyer has any sense. The police already have a confession. What is there left to even remotely defend?

People are also starting to dig out some of his old tweets which include seriously disturbing things, including claiming that he would commit mass murder + suicide when he was 'ready to die', would tape it and it was 'gonna be rad.'.

I then went to see what was the reaction of his employers during that phase ('09) and found this:

"War Machine was signed and then released by Bellator Fighting Championships. His MySpace blog cited disparaging comments about Barack Obama—including his "hopes someone smokes that [expletive] ( Barack Obama) and every president to come"—as the cause for his non-participation in their upcoming tournament.[17][18]"

I give them credit for taking a stand. Good on them.

Personally I would have given them more credit if they stuck to their decision or if it came coupled with serious strings attached (like psychological counselling), but they re-hired him in 2011 according to wikipedia..

With that said, I do give them credit for dealing immediately and strongly with heinous behaviour from their employees, unlike other sports leagues/institutions have done quite recently.

I skipped this yesterday to have more time to think on how to answer..

Honestly, the moment I see news like this, I react exactly like eyeteach reacted (or worse) and I guess most if not all of us would react the same - after all, it's an instinctive/primal response to a threat to the survival/cohesion of our species.

Now, I do not believe that we should act on those reactions (as much as I would love to see that oxygen thief gone) - we've come so far from that type of society and have systems in place to take care of criminals like this (granted, flawed systems, but we can improve those). And if you look back in history, violent reactions to make an example out of criminals never helped.

If people want to help in this case, they should make sure to spread information about the criminal so he is caught and gets to pay for his crime.. Anything more is a foolish action - do you think you (or anyone else) can beat up a trained MMA fighter who is delusional, that probably by now has a gun and thinks the police is out to get him (well, technically they are, but he probably thinks they want him dead instead of arrested)?

Honestly, I hope this guy ends up in jail for life - having his freedom taken away is only the beginning of the punishment, as I am sure he will end up in solitaire confinement frequently (and from what I hear, solitaire confinement is a special category of hell).

I have never understood why jail is thought to be a suitable punishment for those who harm others.

Oh, this guy beat the crap out of somebody? Well let's give him a 'free ride' and make tax payers pay for his living costs. We'll make him sit in a boring place and 'think about' what he's done wrong. Yea! That sounds effective!

...... That sounds about as effective as time out. Shitty and horrible, another way for them to stew on what they did and build up resentment to make a solid grudge. Let's leave this unstable individual alone with their thoughts. Yup, sound logic right there. Makes zero sense in my head, but then, I'm not the kind of person who does well with time outs either.

This is true for jail, but if this guy is convicted, he'll be going to *prison* instead of jail. The difference between the two is like going to summer camp and eating pb&j vs. being thrown into a pit with vipers and told to befriend them.

Unless they label him as a special prisoner and put him in solitary for his entire sentence, the likelihood of him coming out of prison in one piece after doing something like this is slim to none. It may be all taxes paid/free accommodations/food/health care, but that also means that they'll just stitch him back up and throw him back to the wolves after each time they come after him. And depending on the prison, they might publicly announce to the cell block who he is/what he did and just let them do whatever they want short of killing him.

Source: One of my relatives has spent the last 30 years working in prisons around the country, and this is almost verbatim what he had to say on the matter. It's not PC, but he's not the kind of person to sugarcoat. It's not my opinion in any way.

About half of his future cell block probably has Christy tattooed on them... He's not in for a comfy life.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He won't be having a fun time in prison. The way I understand it the three most hated types in prison are snitches, child molesters and small women beaters. They are considered open game for everyone. Although I sense he may have opportunities for discovering unexplored sexual activities in his life; repeatedly.

Yea, we all know that.
But I think what makes this particular case different, besides the celebrity status, is that people are victim blaming because of her career choice.

If that really is the case, then they need to throw him to the wolves sooner. I've heard wolves are carnivores and have a voracious appetite.

And those that are doing that to her are beyond morons. Maybe she made bad decisions, but those were her decisions to make. She did NOT deserve to get beaten within an inch of her life, I don't care what industry she worked in. Don't give me this, "Oh she worked in porn, she must've wanted to get raped and beaten"...BULLSHIT! :angry4:

Had you asked me three days ago if I knew who Christy Mack is I'd have told you no. After looking up one of her videos I can honestly say she doesn't do anything to me; again, personal decisions belonging to that person. But she did NOT deserve what that psychotic idiot did to her.

I've never even considered what she does for a living as well. Like you I had never heard of her. And I think I've only heard of him once before when some model tweeted about watching a (pay per view?) fight he was in. But none of that matters, there is no legal justification for what he has already admitted doing in his tweets. Case closed. He's a guilty mother fucking scum ball with nothing left to say in the matter as far as I'm concerned. Normally I'm all for innocent until proven guilty, but that got thrown out with his confession. So rot in jail scum ball.

I wonder if he would get beat up in prison. I'm sure there are some Christy Mack fans in there who know what he did to her and would just be waiting for the chance to jump him. He may be all muscle, but I doubt he will be able to fight off several men trying to beat the living shit out of him.
