Chaturbate Site Warning

Well it actually happened for the first time in 5 years lol... I got a site warning last night for broadcasting copyright violation: playing games / movies etc

I wasn't sure what the violation was as I had my webcam pointed at some random Lego model & playing copyright free music on Spotify (I also have a copyright free disclaimer for the music I play in my bio on Chaturbate).

But after checking with @punker barbie (thank you btw lol), I found out that Lego wasn't allowed as its Copyrighted & trademarked, plus some of the music on Spotify isn't copyrighted. But I have assured that the music I play IS copyright free:

But saying all this.. if Lego isn't allowed because its Copyright & Trademarked, wouldn't this also apply to virtually everything else thats on a webcam feed as in clothes, computers, a game controller, etc etc

Just wondering what other models & users thoughts are on this subject

It really comes down to making sure you understand the rules and sticking by them Theres plenty that know about the rule and will help you if you have any issue or questions you want to ask. In the nearly 6 years I've been on CB my site warning was the very first one I've ever had lol. It actually made me laugh in the end but with the help of @punker barbie I was able to know what had happened I know in future not to do it again Since then no issues (fingers crossed lol).

It's still a bit tragic though that there isn't one clear place with all rules and decent communication about them and any changes instead of having to build a picture like putting it together from scavenged sources, building block by copyrighted block

That’s one of the reasons I made up cbrules.tumblr.com all the rules made as simple as possible and confirmed from CB when needed.

I actually emailed them out of curiosity to see if I could do a twitch type of stream on CB (I wasn't arsed to look at the rules tbh lol) and they were like ABSOLUTELY NOT. Alrighty then...

Yep gaming on screen and playing the game sounds fall under the copyright section which they don't want to get any DMCA notices from the gaming industry. Twitch has deals with the game developers but CB does not.

Well I meant more like these sounds... but Ive them with an email about a few specific products we want to use and see if they are allowable before Introducing anything questionable...

Another issue with the rules is they seem to be "different" like I've sent in a photo of a large toy and explained how or why I'd want to use it...and theyou tell me no. But I see another model using a toy just as large as I want to... so consistency would be nice. I'd gladly sign whatever waiver they want but for now no is no.

Now I'm going to look up a bunch of uncopywritted music! Lol

btw toys section size comes under this rule:

But for toys it really depends what toys you're wanting to use, as sometimes CB Support can get the info incorrect.

Thank you, sometimes it seems as though toys being used are larger than that lol but ive got it stuck in my head now...not longer that 12 inches or wider than a coke can

Just remember if there’s a toy that hits the limits, take a photo of the measurements (ruler at the side of the toy) and send it to support saying that you want to use it in your show.

If you mean posters of games or movies not sure.. it would be a grey area. You could email support
