Chaturbate Issues

Hi all

As a user of many different Cam sites, I don't know if anyone else has noticed but there is a very long delay with Chaturbate which can cause large and unnecessary expenditure at critical moments. I am sure it is not in anyone's interests to fix this. But as a user of sites it is rather annoying to find that what is happening on your screen happened 10 seconds earlier so that the last 10 seconds of tips (maybe the biggest tips) are essentially wasted. Unless of course you care enough about the model to give it to her anyway. But even if I'm happy for her to get tips part of the fun is the interactivity (or the illusion of such). Without decent response and interaction times essentially Chaturbate is ripping off users. Oh and I believe it rips off models too compared to other sites. I think they need to sort out their act

Do you think thats what it is. I don't know how the model software works with different sites. Its a long delay and I was wondering what was going on with the delay. Then I realised how long a delay there was between the tip on my machine and the response on the video - even more than 10 seconds sometimes.

Its a shame and quite costly too. Not that I begrudge the overall tips but it rather spoils the nature of the session

Yes. The time it takes for the performer's stream to reach the server is what causes a lag, usually. On streamate, we can see our round trip time (RTT). It's super handy. There are several different factors that can cause RTT to increase.

I think I will just have to stop using CB which is a shame as it doesn't happen on the other sites.

I guess I shouldn't say it's "usually" the performer's issue. Especially when dropping streamate into the conversation. There are plenty of times that our displayed RTT goes haywire for everyone on streamate, for no apparent reason haha. But I haven't heard so much about this being a wide-spread issue on chaturbate. They have their own set of issues, every site does.

I will try and find out if other people have the same issue. Maybe it is a combination of user client, CB server and model machine. But its disappointing. Only been a real problem for me a few times but recently has caused an issue. I also notce the CB messge thread often tells you to slow down. So I do wonder about how the software works. Not that I know much about it. I just use it and try to have a god time

That is likely an anti-spam feature, I would think. So in that context, it makes sense. But if you are talking about using tip-activated vibes or whatever, I see the problem.

Fotunately I don't mind the model getting the tips (or her very small share) since she would have got the tip anyway. It does rather spoil the fun and it does rather upset me if a site that gives a worse user experience also gives a smaller share to the model. Anyway thats just my rant for the day

That's strange because I keep being asked to visit models on other pages so they get bigger shares. Is it because the tokens are a different rate. Apologies if I have been given misleading info.

Overall, the best-paying sites will be the ones with the most traffic. There are new sites that will offer higher % to make up for the fact that they lack traffic, but ya know... 99% of $0 is still $0 haha. I hear what you're saying though.

For sure! It's great that you want to support the models you enjoy (shouldn't we all?!), and I totally understand what a bummer it is when you're watching a show and things get a little wonky.
