Try a different cam site. If you are legal age other sites will probably take you.

It isn't worth the hassle to fight it out with chaturbate and get approved only to have your account frozen and banned once a week when people report you as being underage.

Can someone post the 2256 then..

It's irrelevant, it's up to chaturbate to decide what they deem looks too young to be working there. Banning people that are of age after working there for years is a shitty practice but saying from the beginning they think someone looks too young and might attract certain clientele is probably up to their discretion considering it's freelance porn/nude modeling not an office job. A cam company can decide to exclude things that aren't actually illegal. They may have had pushback from their payment processors or something.

in the end, it's a private company. if they feel like you are too liable, they can choose not to accept you as a model. cb is probably the only camsite i know of that does this if you are of age. other sites, if your ID is proven to be valid, they will accept you on.

other camsites: mfc, camsoda, streamate, imlive, cams.com, naked, livejasmin

remember, chaturbate isn't the only money making site.

I wouldn't worry about it, as has been said, there are other sites to work on. I can understand why a camsite might not want to have very young looking girls on their site (even if they are of legal age). Firstly because you will get the guys who want to fuck children/preteens. Some girls make really good money this way, but it would be understandable to not want this to be a part of the site. I know from some girls here who look a bit younger, even girls in their 30s, that they'll get those kinds of guys cropping up.
Secondly, gossip spreads. It's kind of like those guys who believe a girl has had a boob job because she's got out of proportion breasts, even if they are natural. They gossip, and rumours spread. Chaturbate couldn't exactly post proof that a girl is old enough without sharing her ID, so if rumours come up that they're letting underage girls cam, they may not want to risk tarnishing their reputation. They may just not want to deal with the busy body idiots who would likely report it.

To be honest I've seen plenty of camgirls on MFC who do look underage, and many who play on those factors and become successful, so you'd probably be fine there. Myfreecams is actually a bit of a creepy site like that if you think about it, a pretty popular personality is the skinny, small breasted "teen" girl with cuddly toys. Even if the girl is actually in her 20s, that "little girl" niche definitely seems like a popular one. I doubt the majority of their viewers are actually into the idea of "little girls", just like most guys with a school girl fantasy wouldn't literally want to fuck a school girl. It's just part of the fantasy.

Then why don't other cam sites have a major crackdown on people?

Just speculating, but it is possible that CB has gotten in legal trouble for underage performers in the past. (The exhibitor section seems particularly prone to abuse) Once you have been placed under investigation by the Feds you have to be extra careful and obeying the law in the future. It doesn't matter if it is taxes, EPA regulation, anti-trust, or child porn, a second offense generally results in jail time.

But I'm just speculating. I don't understand why @punkerbarbie doesn't post some type of explanation.

I guess she's not responsible for deciding what the standards are.

why is no one asking why she doesn't explain why we can't get drunk on cam, or anything else that's entirely legal (fisting, bukkake, etc.) but against their terms? You'd think this one actually speaks for itself a lot more -- they don't want what looks like child porn because even if it's not child porn, legal issues are a huge waste of time and money. whereas there's no legal threat of having a "girl" drinking a glass of wine (is it even illegal for an under 18 to drink alcohol in the US, or is it just illegal to sell to minors?). it's illegal to sell minors cigarettes, but girls still smoke on cam, so I guess it's not about that.

In England I believe fisting is now illegal in porn. You can actually only use two fingers as more than that has a risk of tearing. So I could understand why they would not want to encourage it if it is illegal in some countries. As for drinking, I don't know whether there is any legal issues. But I guess it could be seen as advertising alcohol, or maybe it's just that they don't want to encourage girls getting really drunk on camera. Maybe they have had issues with women becoming alcoholics to deal with the pressure of camming. They might have had complaints on this. I could understand also that if someone is inebriated there may be questions as to whether they are truly consenting.
I don't know how they could control the "no drinking" policy as there is no way to prove what they are drinking is alcohol. So I imagine it only really goes for people who get obviously drunk, therefore the rule is simply to discourage binge drinking on cam.

You can drink on cam on CB now as long as you aren't visibly intoxicated. They lifted that rule recently along with the no-tail-plugs rule.

Joined streammate already but it feels so disconnected and lonely when you're camming and cam soda doesnt seem to be loading for some reason?
not sure why that would be but keep trying! my friend has a lot of fun there.

streamate can be but once you find good regs it is a lot of fun!
and the $ there is pretty unmatched at least for me.

Consumption under 21 is illegal in most states, unless you have parental consent or in some case spousal consent. So I can understand the blanket prohibition. A lot of girls say they are younger than the actually are so you could get reports of underage drinking. You'd have to flag an account as allowed to drink, or smoke dope depending on where they lived. Realistically, I don't think law enforcement pays much attention to cam sites especially in the US. For instance many/most girls run raffles those are illegal. So it's a bit weird that CB seems to go overboard on even the appearance of underage camming. Role playing of young girls and older guys is such a stable of porn.

Chaturbate have changed a lot of rules lately.

The terms have been changed to remove a lot of what we've normally taken as a rule ie drinking alcohol & other activities

I even emailed Support on 4 different days last week asking 4 different questions, they have yet to reply. I even emailed Shirley to see if she could answer or even chase the case numbers up as support have been really bad of late, but heard nothing back as yet.

I did try Ramona, but she's even gone quiet :/

Seems ever since Support introduced the Support Bot, its really hard to get any reply from them.

But regarding the 'appearance of underage' I have seen a LOT of models being banned by Chaturbate from the ages of 18 up to 24, I'm just putting it down to a lot of trolls using the report abuse with multiple accounts. As it happens a lot with the exhibitionists when the trolls dont get what they ask for they feel ok I'll report you and get you banned.

whyre they not updating models on this?
it's so bizarre for a professional business to change a TOS agreement without announcing it to the parties of it.

I tend to doubt this interpretation because I was banned (or, ya know, suspended until I submit ID) as an "exhibitionist" (a non-tk account I use only for pre-broadcast broadcasting to set up lighting and cam settings. ...password protected, no one in my room but me. me not doing anything more than configuring settings and taking screenshots to post on twitter to announce I'm online (I changed to my model account, did a show, same IP address, same lighting, same camera...no difference to what they could see on my config account, but no issues). This suggests to me that they actively trawl through unverified accounts to make sure no violations are going on, and take a very hard line with them since they have no ID to fall back on and compare to what they're witnessing.

I've no idea why they dont update anyone due to the changes of the Terms that models & users sign up to, seeing as a lot of other sites send out emails stating there has been a change in the Terms & Conditions & inform you what they are.

Its very easy for Exhibitionists to be banned on CB as someone only needs to report them for being underage & CB have a legal requirement to remove the broadcast from their site, doesn't matter if that broadcast is public or password protected.

I have seen plenty of models that are over the age of 18 (30 - 40) that have not broken any terms or rules, but still been banned and when they've got in touch with CB, they have been informed that they were banned for underage. Which is starting to happening to verified models too.

One friend who WAS verified on CB (30's) but had the acceptance of tokens removed, was still banned for underage & had to email support each time to have the ban removed.

what I'm saying is, it's very impossible for someone to report you if they cannot even access your room because no one is given access (and therefore only officials who can circumvent the password requirement can be responsible for your ban). and given that this does take place, as I know from my own experience, I wouldn't be so quick to assume people are being trolled by viewers, since it's obviously an area that needs a lot of policing by staff themselves (since anyone over-18 has scarce reason not to be verified instead)

Users & models can still be reported even with their room being passworded even from the very start, as CB can receive an email report from another user which Support will investigate.

I've even seen some profiles that have advertised scam links and then added a password to their profile but after an email to support the account has been banned.
