4chan breaks out all the time on there. Theyve been doing it for over a year. I just sit there and watch my mods ban after ban them. And i laugh at their stupidity while telling them to get a fucking life. And a job so maybe they could afford some fun times with me instead of trolling lol.

Anyway i tried setting the actual webcam to a lower resolution to see if it helped my FPS on CB. It didnt do anything. I still am stuck in having to pick a lower resolution while there so its doesnt look so horrible. I hate the fact i know its them and not me since it was excellent before. Why wont they just fix this?????

I thought I could handle them once and got my personal information spread all over 4chan and reddit (one person knows another person and well. lots of people use 4chan, apparently someone knew my real name). Luckily it wasn't 100% correct (they had my parent's address and not mine) but my parents got all kinds of phone calls asking for me. Lots of hangups. I had to tell them not to answer any blocked calls :[

Basically, if your room is full of 4chan idiots, I'd recommend just signing off for a bit instead of thinking you can hold them back- banning will not help.

Ugh it just makes me sick. They pay these porn stars to be there and they complain about it every time. Plus they never even come back. I remember when they had the first one invited over and were promoing her every where. There was a huge uproar from every one saying she would take away money from us "normal" girls and how unfair it was. SOOOO I was on chaturbate last night on my couples account...and it was like a fuckin ghost town for users..the top rooms had like 1000 people in them [which is pretty dismal]
When I looked into it, it seems that chaturbate crashed for a bit earlier yesterday and since then a bunch of people[ models and members] were having troubvle both logging in broadcasting or seeing chaturbate as down all night..

Also their broadcast window changed back to oldstyle [ where they measure your bandwish and such with fps]

Sooooo..I think chaturbate is having server difficvulty. As in, they have too many people and too much badnwith for what they can afford and therefore put a limit on it and are now using their own personal servers rather than multiples.

Which is bad. If they're restricing their bandwith that means:
less members/tippers online cos the site caps sooner
less HD quality cams [ i run a c920 and I haven't been able to broadcast in HD without it being choppy and having shit frame rate which is ridiculoius since I pay out the ASS for my own bandwith AND i paid for an HD webcam so I could stream in HD dammit!!]

They also added a new rank. The ghost blue..which means unless you tip 25tk every 24hrs you'll be light blue to show you aren't an active tipper. So they're alientating the tippers now ><
I had a lot of my regs tell me through twitter that they weren't on last night/cashed out their tokens BECAUSE they were offended by the new blue ghost status.

I'm seriously really upset. I LOVED chaturbate! I think they're trying too hard to be the best cam site and focusing too much on their gimmicks [apps and the like] rather than things that will actually keep them on top [having enough bandwith, not banning randomly, being clear on TOS, not alientaing their members and models, ect ect]

It was a server issue, yep, but not down to bandwidth. Many people were able to access the website perfectly, others, myself included, were not so lucky. I was in the middle of broadcasting when this issue started. I was able to keep broadcasting but I could not assign mods, change tip apps, change settings etc. Basically anything that meant re-loading a part of Chaturbate.

Some of the people in my room were saying that they refreshed and it was fine for them, so I went to try the same and could not regain access to the site until this morning. Probably just a problem that required a server restart.

I do think it's plausible though that the site has grown so quickly recently that the servers may be struggling under the stress at times, but I do not believe that to be the issue with your cam not being in HD. It appears that many people haven't got the best cam quality despite good internet speeds and webcam, but there are people that do broadcast in HD. The difference between these people always seems to be the hardware THEY'RE using to broadcast. Internet speed and cam are important, but equally important is what's under the hood of your PC or laptop.

I've settled for a 640x480 resolution and 70.00 quality settings on Chaturbate which leaves me at a nice 30-50fps. Given that 30fps is considered the max fps the human eye can process in terms of movement, it's perfectly fine.

Doubt it. My boytoy is a computer FREAK. He adores hardware. I pretty much work my ass off so he can buy shiny computer parts...
Anyways, ya. It's something more worrisome I'm sure....

This has been happening to me for a long time. I used to be able to broadcast in the highest setting they had. No issues. Now...it hasnt worked for weeks. I can only do medium and even then its buggy. Changing my webcam to a lower setting did nothing, neither did hard wiring with ethernet. Its not us...its them. Their servers are so bogged down with cams now its just ridiculous.

I think they should limit the number of viewers in each exhibitionist room, for instance an exhibitionist can only have 200 people in their room at any given time.

This way the people ACTUALLY earning money for Chaturbate can have a better chance of winning the hourly prize rather than someone that can't win it.


I also have issues running my cam. I have 65 mbps down and 5 mbps up. I should be able to run pretty smoothly and I have a pretty awesome computer that should accommodate for awesome broadcast sauce.

I guarantee ya though, if you ask they will tell you what every cam site tells ya. IT'S YOUR FAULT.

As far as I know, I am still getting paid. I received last payment periods check. So, the tokens are not phantom but...

Chat went out completely for 5+ minutes three times tonight.
Video lagged out more than a few times according to members, and my feed/internet was perfect.
Some apps simply do not work sometimes (if someone tips towards your goal, the number will not update).
Support is often slow. It can be scary if you need support LIKENOW and you know they won't get to you for a good 3 days at least.

Test with caution, but test away.

One of the broadcasters that was banned last week was told why she was banned - it was to do with a link to a website in the UK that sold sex toys and she had a wish list on the site. But Shirley had to disable the restrictions to get her back on and she had to take the links off.

It seems as the banning system is very sensitive to the profiles. I know a few broadcasters that have been waiting for around 2 weeks going into 3 weeks and have emailed Shirley and also posted on twitter to her but they haven't got a reply.

But one broadcaster that tweeted on the weekend after getting banned got back on within 24 hours. So I guess it depends when you catch her.

Anyway I cant even make a model account here.. every time i submit my id pics this message appears "Your verification information was not accepted". They dont even take the time to look at it, the scanned ID is perfect and the picture of me holding it couldnt be more clear... I`ve emailed them about this but of course i didnt get an answear..

I had that exact same problem. I needed to scale my images down - I figured if they wanted a super clear picture, then what my HD cam produced would be perfect... right?

As it turns out, the HD pics were too large. I had to scale my pics to 1000px wide/high or less before the system didn't auto-reject them. After that, they showed up as pending and got looked at and approved. Just a little detail they neglect to mention... heh. So yeah, check to see if your pics aren't too large.

I did that and after the same message appeared.. but they sent me an email this morning letting me know that they arent currently accepting models from my region. They could have said that in the first place so I wouldnt try to figure out what is wrong with my application :-x

I've seen this before its automatically rejected within seconds of it being sent.. Are you using a VPN or in The Philippines?
