We got both of our accounts back, but the second account was down within 5 minutes of broadcasting, I think it sounds like someone has a vendetta against certain models. I find it hard to believe that this many models are doing things that are breaking the rules and if they are then the rules are not clear cut and that's a Chaturbate issue, not a model issue.

From reading the posts on this thread, it almost sounds like some weird conspiracy... the infamous "Ban Virus" was accidentally released from the secret Illuminati lab and found its way to CB and is completely out of control.

About 10-15 posts into that thread and they say Chaturbate was advertising for MFC.

Also, my affiliate links and white labels have never worked, others have said the same thing. Only two of my registered people have ever showed as affiliate sign ups, the rest never did, which is a shame because we had a lot of people sign up in our room.

If they don't start answering why I was banned, I am going to have to find a new site where they won't ban me every month and all of those people that I brought over are coming with me. I have other ways of accepting payment from my top tippers, yet I ask them to give half of it to Chaturbate, so I can do shows. Now I just don't know anymore. I've sent emails and been ignored or replied, but with sarcasm. I have asked questions and not gotten any answers, I have raised serious concerns and never gotten a response. I have been banned 3 times and only told once why and even then it wasn't clarified at all.

Since they have earned Best Cam Site of the Year are they going to start answering all of the questions the models have or lose every model that is reputable so they can keep the 19 year old pot smoking, underage drinking kids around and hope to make money on them instead?

I like being able to do shows when I want to. My main tippers enjoy the fact that they can contribute to a goal, but that we can hang out and talk too, I would hate to change that for a lot of them. I think I would lose a lot of them that way.

If there were another site that was popular, but with less issues where we could cam together, I would love it.

I got mine that way. Had them on my solo account and just asked Vanessa to approve them on my couples account too. They were enabled before we ever logged on as a couple for us. You do have to still have the same things like HD and all, plus a good status as a solo performer i believe too.

Only playin', it's bullshit what they are doing to models and you. It's super unprofessional of them. I have printed documents preparing to leave the site in at the end of the month, to abandon ship, unless they make an earnest show of appreciation for the fucked up stuff we've put up with.

Make your rules clear.
Use warnings more often than bans. Email those immediately with info on why they have been banned and what they can do to fix it.
And I'm sure there's much more I could add to this list, like maybe NOT treating special porn stars differently instead of allowing them to break rules (outside links to other websites/blogs with promotions to other sites [a rule I think is utter horseshit])

Streamate is the only other good site I know of where men are allowed. Yes, it is different than Chaturbate, but if you're open to trying it out then it doesn't take too long to get the hang of.

I'm sure you can meet all the tech requirements; all you need is a 5 star rating and you can ask to have gold shows approved for your account. Alternately, like Luna suggested, you could make a solo account, get gold shows, then make a couple's account and get them approved right away.

It's not a perfect solution, but if Chaturbate is dying down, it would pay to have a back-up plan.

SOOOO I was on chaturbate last night on my couples account...and it was like a fuckin ghost town for users..the top rooms had like 1000 people in them [which is pretty dismal]
When I looked into it, it seems that chaturbate crashed for a bit earlier yesterday and since then a bunch of people[ models and members] were having troubvle both logging in broadcasting or seeing chaturbate as down all night..

Also their broadcast window changed back to oldstyle [ where they measure your bandwish and such with fps]

Sooooo..I think chaturbate is having server difficvulty. As in, they have too many people and too much badnwith for what they can afford and therefore put a limit on it and are now using their own personal servers rather than multiples.

Which is bad. If they're restricing their bandwith that means:
less members/tippers online cos the site caps sooner
less HD quality cams [ i run a c920 and I haven't been able to broadcast in HD without it being choppy and having shit frame rate which is ridiculoius since I pay out the ASS for my own bandwith AND i paid for an HD webcam so I could stream in HD dammit!!]

They also added a new rank. The ghost blue..which means unless you tip 25tk every 24hrs you'll be light blue to show you aren't an active tipper. So they're alientating the tippers now ><
I had a lot of my regs tell me through twitter that they weren't on last night/cashed out their tokens BECAUSE they were offended by the new blue ghost status.

It was a server issue, yep, but not down to bandwidth. Many people were able to access the website perfectly, others, myself included, were not so lucky. I was in the middle of broadcasting when this issue started. I was able to keep broadcasting but I could not assign mods, change tip apps, change settings etc. Basically anything that meant re-loading a part of Chaturbate.

Some of the people in my room were saying that they refreshed and it was fine for them, so I went to try the same and could not regain access to the site until this morning. Probably just a problem that required a server restart.

I do think it's plausible though that the site has grown so quickly recently that the servers may be struggling under the stress at times, but I do not believe that to be the issue with your cam not being in HD. It appears that many people haven't got the best cam quality despite good internet speeds and webcam, but there are people that do broadcast in HD. The difference between these people always seems to be the hardware THEY'RE using to broadcast. Internet speed and cam are important, but equally important is what's under the hood of your PC or laptop.

I've settled for a 640x480 resolution and 70.00 quality settings on Chaturbate which leaves me at a nice 30-50fps. Given that 30fps is considered the max fps the human eye can process in terms of movement, it's perfectly fine.

This is really shitty. I hope they realize they are losing models and member to this. The lack of no responses and way that the models and now the "light blue" non active tippers are being treated is not cool. If they don't have enough bandwidth (if that's what this is all about) then instead of doing this shit to the models and members, then make it so that no new users can join the site until they do. Just lock it in place until they're ready to hire again. If they try to keep things running smoothly, no one is going to mind still coming to the site. When the the site is ready to take new members, if they treat everyone well, people are going to flock to it with the right advertising.

I gave up on the e-mails. They don't respond because they don't know what to say. One message for all of us would be appreciative. Just tell us the main fuckin reason this is happening. They could say anything right now, at least acknowledge us. Nothing has been said about it and that is what is so poor about the way business is run. If they could at least just give us a verbal update daily, we would not be so pissed off. No more surprises :naughty:

Why on earth didnt i think to change the setting on the actual webcam and try to see if that changed my FPS on CB. Thank you skiphop! Im going to try that and see if it works.
My issue is i used to say HD and have crystal clear cam. Mines HD, great interweb, etc. Then bam its not showing HD on the site, and has terrible FPS if i try to be in Highest or anything like that. It just happened one day. I changed nothing but maybe that will help a bit at least.
It doesnt help that they dont have recommended settings at all either.
