Chaturbate account was hacked or stolen somehow.

Sorry if this isn't the area, I'm just super frustrated with WTF is going on. Someone got into my account and changed the password without any sort of email confirmation whatsoever. I only had like a small amount of tokens on there but the guy totally sent himself what i had anyways and i have a saved credit card which I removed via phone just now. I changed the password as soon as i found out so i can use it again but i have no idea how the person was able to get in. I understand this is kind of a site for all cam services so i might not find what im looking for here but:

How long does the fucking support take to answer Its been 4 days and 2 attempts from my end to contact them.
Any clarity to how all this happened and is my financial information at risk?

Thanks in advance guys, I'm super stressed about this, its never happened before anywhere.

@English_rose experienced something very similar recently and might be able to offer you some advice.

In her case Chaturbate eventually set everything right and I hope they'll be able to do the same in yours.

One thing that confuses me about this is if they hacked your account and changed the password how were you able to go in and change the password once you found out. If they changed the password how did you sign?

I'm like unreasonably paranoid about them somehow getting my 'card on file' i never even wanted it on file the system just did it without asking. the lady on the phone was like super rude dismissing all my questions and just said you gotta put it in every time now we wont allow you to save it ever again. Like lady someone fucking jacked my account without using my email thats definitely a big deal

i might have had a throwaway account on mfc but once again how did whoever take it change my password without an email confirmation.

well papa's gotta fap right? so i think it got hacked somewhere like 5am on saturday and i tried using it at 11am realized after 5 logins it wasnt working so i reset my pw and then realized i had no tokens and that someone named 'englishgamer' recieved all of them around 5:30am

Hi, this happened to me last week on Chaturbate. They person hacked into my CB account and my email account. They found a photo of me with my ID, edited it to CB specifications (turned my driving license upside down and changed the words on the paper) and managed to put their paxum card into my payment details and took almost £5000. CB took ages to reply but eventaully when they did they sorted it all out for me. I have had to create a new CB account and email and they are going to pay me the money back. I emailed Paxum and gave the the email address the paxum card was linked to (CB told me) and Paxum reversed the money back to CB and reported it as fraud as far as i can gather. I was so stressed so I know how you feel. Not to mention sick to the stomach that someone has a photo of my ID. I hope you have heard something by now. x

I have no idea how anyone would have my photo id or even care to try to obtain it. I'm just a viewer in a sea of many and i dont even frequent the same streams or speak with anyone.

typically email confirmation is for a 'password reset'. If they already know your password, they don't need to do a 'password reset'. If they know your password, they can do a normal 'password change'. Most websites do not email you for a normal password change.
