Was wondering if anyone had thoughts on Charlie leaving a 1,000 tip to a server that was stiffed by a cheap football player?

Charlie sheen may be wacky but at least he has some sense to spread his disposable income to someone that would need the money. I've got a great deal of respect for working class America. These people are what keeps the economy going, so why not reward a hard worker with a nice tip if you have the disposable income?

His history of domestic violence and abuse has pretty much forever tainted him in my opinion, but random acts of kindness are always cool.

Didn't think about all those other aspects that came with him. Sorry if I offended anyone mentioning Charlies good deed...sorry.

FYI I have an impeccable knack for putting my foot in my mouth.

Nah, I'm sure nobody is offended by the mere mention of somebody who is probably a bit of a dick. S'all good :thumbleft:

It's a shame he's such a shitty person, because he used to be such a great actor.. And so, so sexy.

But yeah, I think random acts of kindness like this are nice (also his recent ALS Challenge video in which he dumped a bucket of money over his head  and then said he was going to donate $10k, though I don't know if he did for sure or not), but I also kind of feel like they are just publicity stunts maybe?

Some people really do change for the better. My grandpa was severely physically abusive to my grandma until he "found The Lord" thanks to his new wife and since I've known him (22 years) he has been the most patient, gentle man to everyone. I've never even heard him raise his voice. I don't know if this is really a turning point for Charlie, only time will tell, but it's a step in the right direction.

I actually think Charlie Sheen's issue is just being an addict with too much money and too many yes men. Underneath that, he might not necessarily be a violent human. Addicts lose who they are and become a cliche. He's lived that lifestyle for decades. You put a bunch of addicted humans looking for love and fulfillment through money and drugs in a room together and someone will likely get hurt. Sad for him that he hasn't found the strength to really seek help and put himself back together through treatment. Sad for these women that see the good in him and think they can change or take care of him with love, and that he won't treat them in the same way his pattern shows because they're "special".

Very well said.
