Hi, I just started on MFC about two weeks ago. I didn't know anything about being a cam girl, a friend just asked me if i was interested in making extra money. I agreed and she said all i needed was an id and that i would get 50% or 60% if i worked 25+ hrs. So she set up my profile. I logged in and i really liked it, i worked my 25 hrs and a day later she messages me saying that her boss had just informed her that the 25 hr promotion was over and i would only get my 50%. i was confused and thought she was scamming me or something so i tried to change my payment info on my mfc account and realized she signed me up as a studio. She told me i could quit if i wanted but i would be banned from MFC for 6 months. Is that true??

Yeah, that's normally true about not being able to sign up with the site directly for 6 months. :(

You could try working on Streamate or Chaturbate though. Do some research though, Streamate is a bit different than MFC. It's more about taking privates than receiving tips.

Here's the link to sign up for Streamate: https://www.streamatemodels.com/
For Chaturbate, go to Chaturbate.com and you should see links to sign up.

MFC, unless they have changed, have not prevented models from skipping out on studios. I know models who left their studios and started working on independent accounts immediately. In fact, they set up their independent accounts while they were still working for the studio.

Other sites are a problem, but I don't believe you'll have a problem with MFC.

you can sign up with MFC right away, they allow models to sign up twice if the first time they were signed up via a studio.
however, there might be something in your studio contract saying that you're not allowed to work at a specific site for x period of time after you quit.

I don't think it is MFC that would prevent you from signing up, BUT the contract you signed with your studio. If you break that agreement they have legal recourse to go after you and your earnings as an independent model.

I can just imagine that going to court.

"Your honor, the defendant committed herself not to shake her ass - a photo of which has been entered into evidence as Exhibit A - or flash her tits - a photo of which has been entered into evidence as Exhibit T - on the internet unless my client got a cut of what people paid to view the aforementioned ass-shaking and tit-flashing....Your honor?"

Thank you so much!! I really wish i had done my research I would have made twice. And i didnt sign any contract with them :)

Apparently the Welcome party didn't happen yet, may want to get model status here https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/viewt ... =24&t=1696 which opens you up to pillow fights and such... at least that's what the models keep telling us members.

Like everyone has said so far, MFC will not keep you from setting up a different model account that is not affiliated with a studio unless you signed a contract with a studio. The one thing that they will keep you from using is the same name as what you used working for the studio. Since you have not signed a contract, you should be able to start up again as soon as you are approved.
