We used discord a bit last year in a models room when MFC would crash as a place to congregate while we waited for the site to get back up.

We didn't use it for NSFW stuff, just as a place to sit and chat while we waited for MFC to come back up.

Their representative on Twitter made a mistake. It only violates their community guidelines if minors are involved.

"Sharing content related to minors that is sexually suggestive or violent. Do not share or post links to images that depict minors or underage individuals engaged in violent, sexually suggestive, pornographic, shameful, or otherwise inappropriate situations."

Yes but it takes only one non-trusted member to report the model to get her discord shut down. Assuming, of course, this is the true meaning.

I spoke with support from one of my sites (MyFetishLive). They told me they offer play sessions (similar to ticket or gold shows. They offer a 50% (also a 10% affiliate) payout to models and allow offline tips. They said since their traffic is lower the shows would be mostly 1-1 and all I'd have to do is put that the member has to spend like 1 token in the topic (or full price of the show). It would not be pay-per-minute in case there's a tech issue and such (like Cammodeldirectory).

They offer cam to cam and their twitter rep is very nice and quick to respond to questions (same with all their support).

Gold shows, of course, are a thing offered on SM that I could use, but I used lower prices on skype as an incentive to have members pay me through the sites offering a higher percentage. I figure this way I can offer lower priced shows in play sessions on MyFetishLive and regular shows on SM.

I joined the server and took a look at the rules and they seem pretty solid when it comes to making sure that everyone participating is a consenting adult. I will tell the models that I am friendly with that do not participate on the forum about it so they can check it out for themselves and decide if it is a good alternative to Skype that they want to use.
