Hello, i'm Ourax and i'm Global Moderator over at SAM and CWH, i also happen to be an Independent Security Researcher in my spare time. tl;dr I like security. i like data. i also like blasting MFC about their lack of SSL on both user and model logins..

Iv created an online resource for Cam Girls similar to the awesome https://www.camgirlwiki.com/ however focused towards practical security.


What is CGCP?

It stands for Cam Girl Care Package and as the name suggests, the site provides, easy to understand, basic security tips and tools to keep cam girls safe online.

Some points:

a) The site is currently in EARLY development but i have BIG plans!
b) I do have a BETA program to can sign up at the following address: contact (at) cgcp.info Subject: BETA Invite
c) 100% FREE and ran by myself NO ADs!
d) I currently have written about 5 guides, covering "The Dangers of Skype", Facebook Privacy, The difference between HTTP and HTTPS and why it's important! a concept MFC don't care about..


The Future

I have already had massive interest from the community and i have BETA testers signed up, however as this is a side project and i have a full time job i cannot develop as much time as i'd like working on new features but i am committed. I bought a domain. ;D

The reason for my post is to reach out to the Amber Cutie community as i feel, we have the same goal, to grow and make camming a safe and fun environment for models and "cam watchers" alike.

Why is a login required just to read some well-meaning guides? You could just put them up on a blog and be done with it.

Anyhoo, there has been a lot of discussion about security issues and social media in the public rooms here, and I gather quite a bit more model-side. You're more than welcome to join the public discussions here. We have edit buttons and everything.

Because CGCP is a resource, the reason for the login is to allow beta testers to view content and guides before they become public as i stated in my post, the site is in Beta .

Anyhoo, there has been a lot of discussion about security issues and social media in the public rooms here, and I gather quite a bit more model-side.

I think what he is saying is your site is pretty much useless as this is all information that veteran models share with new models freely without asking anything in return.

Why should we visit your site when we have access to all this info already?

I see your point however CGCP is a project, it is (i hope) to become a resource for models to get FREE, EASY TO UNDERSTAND information security information and guides. However at this moment in time i am currently writing content and designing the site.

The reason why i choose to do a "staggered" release is so i can get real, genuine feedback from models and truly cater the information inside CGCP to models. Becuase i myself am not a model i am however, a security researcher.

Why should we visit your site when we have access to all this info already?

To further clarify, i aim to provide information security guides tailored to cam models on topics like Online Privacy (importance of your IP Address, Dangers of Skype, Geo tagged images), among other topics, roll that into one FREE inclusive "care package" and distribute it. I'm not trying take advice veteran cam models share and rebrand it i'm trying to provide this community with a resource that it majorly lacks. For example MyFreeCams, one of the biggest cam sites within the community, does not protect it's users form man in the middle attacks, that's a BIG deal!
