Just because MFC is a piece of shit, doesn't mean someone with a worse piece of shit can hope to compete. I've listed all of my reasons and have nothing to gain from bashing MFC or your site. To be fair not all models here are exclusive to MFC and I think some aren't even on MFC, but this IS a forum run by a model that is exclusively on MFC; And this site is for model and member interaction as well as promotion for said models, so expecting more than what the site is advertised as is a bit much.
Most people are being constructive pointing out where you can improve in areas.
Also:
1) If a script isn't custom coded than it's no good... (mfc's open source dinasour has been around since 2003.)
Generally, yes. But just because a script sucks doesn't mean the whole model is bad. That's like saying since your car tires are shit, that makes your Ferrari worthless.
2) Site templates are bad...(mfc still uses frames and is one of ugliest cam sites out there...this is good)
MFC is ugly, but who is looking at MFC when it's so easy to jump in to see models shaking their asses?
3) I repost two very good, favorable and well written articles on a blog using standard protocol of back linking the originating source/site and this is bad because I didn't contact the subjects of the article when the biggest concern should come from the originating site/author...(but there is no issue with selling one's soul and copyright to mfc, who plasters models asses all over the internet for profit plus OWNS the rights to do so.)
It's an issue with the model having ownership over their person. They may not want random people reposting everything all over the place. Just like if I am a musician and I write a song and I let someone who writes a review to post the song gratis on his article you can't post the song even if he lets you copy his article verbatim. Legality aside, it is pretty rude.
4) A site willing to pay the highest rates heard of plus models ability to set her own pricing just for taking a chance on a startup, limiting the amount of total overall models so everyone can get traffic with out any type of cam scores is bad.....(but working under a rigged cam score system that directly faces off model to model for position and then forces those to maintain roughly a token count of 330k/month to be in the top twenty or face sudden death buried on page 5 if they don't push the limit to maintain a full tipping room is good.
This argument is flawed. I only see Models in countries that are native speakers of English, which means I see at most 200 models most days. Being that the site shows me 250 models per page, I see all of them. Just as easily members might filter down to countries that do crazy shit dirt cheap. Plus the Lounge system MFC uses allows anyone to see any model someone happens to like. Which means if you don't suck, you will get noticed and can gain in popularity.
5) Having members paying a modest price to stay in a models room is bad...(but a room full hundreds or maybe a couple thousand members with only a half dozen tippers is a good thing.)
Do you want thousands of models with hundreds of users or hundreds of thousands of users with hundreds of models? I think Amber does well when she has 600+ people in her room with a half dozen users tipping. Then she goes to group and gets a couple dozen people in there. Guess who knows how to work this system really well and can get in the top 20 regularly (and quit her day job)?
