Hello everyone, this is my first post on ACF. You all seem like a wonderful public, even if the gender ratio is a bit skewed towards the fair, strong sex. :thumbleft: But really, you've got quite the community here. Civilized discussions, helpful, experienced members. A rare thing on the internet.
I was hoping that you might, if you've got the time and are bored enough, reply to these worries of mine.
My name is Perkunas, :hello2: , I'm a 21-y/o, straight, non-ripped farm boy from Eastern Europe(but with excellent English, if I may be so bold). Not a great start for a cam career, is it? :-D
Currently, the only site that I've applied for and been accepted to is F4F - read on the Internets that it is a solid choice for male models. Of course, the whole goddamn internet seems to be full of contradictory accounts regarding cam-sites, and people trying to push their own agenda. So I don't know who to trust. (Your experiences with F4F would be greatly appreciated!).
I'm also not in America, so catching the peak times(I assume it would be late evening) will be... difficult. Getting up at 6 AM to start a show? Jeez... But! Duty calls. :handgestures-salute: The money is a big factor, but then again there is something that seems almost noble about camming. It's not manufacturing loads of crap that people will buy and throw away next season, so it's not environmentally damaging. And it is providing people with intimacy(or at least, the illusion of it) which I guess is all the we want, isn't it? To be understood, heard, thought of as attractive.
My question to y'all is - is it worth the slog? I'm not willing to stick vegetables up my butt, nosir. What else can I "do"? Have heard about marker shows, "food" shows(syrup and such). I'm sociable, and in the corner of the world that I'm in the only thing to do is read and work, so hopefully I could converse with the public on a wide range of topics.
Finally, any pitfalls to avoid, rookie mistakes, burnout risks, etc...?
Thank you again for taking the time to read this and reply.
