Holy Toledo that's good !
Fiber Optic is amazing. I have it too. And it costs less than what my old package used to cost me.
I live in a big house with several Gamers, and it makes all the difference!
Highly recommend.

It's so awesome that I'm sad I have to move this year and hope I can get fiber at the next place and as you said so much less expensive than cable internet.

I’m currently trying at the moment. I hope it makes a difference, it’s just I’m waiting to hear back from them if they offer it in my area…they said they only do businesses but I mentioned it’s strictly for my work so…anyways I hope the same for you considering I’m hearing how amazing it is. Oh if I could only go back to two years and tell myself the things I now know for multi streaming. I would have saved so much hassle.

Also, side note that has nothing to do with this thread…

Am I missing something or is it weird that Chaturbate doesn’t have a feed for me to update my buyers? I wish I could let them know what I’m working on like on stripchat and mfc.

I hope you can too, it makes life so much easier, but I also know it's political where it gets offered.
And it's not available everywhere, depends how everyone votes in the area.
Took fucking forever to get everyone onboard here...

(lol not that I was personally involved in that process, but I did follow it closely, and roll my eyes a lot)

That's what notices in chat are for, not that anyone reads them. You can dedicate a section to "COMING SOON" in your bio.

I'm going to plug these things till the day I die, they are so useful.

Ethernet without the need to run a cable from one end of the house to the other.
i use a powerline too but if you are in an older home with old wiring, it might not work. i had issues with it at my old place not wanting to connect or tanking my speeds to a quarter of what it should be. when i moved and connected it, worked immediately with zero issues.

It might help if you told them that you are a business, not just telling them that it is strictly for work, because unless you have a unique relationship with the sites you are on you are not an employee of those sites. I don't know the rules where you are, but as an independent contractor you are a business entity.

Sorry but no internet provider is going to ask someone to whip out their W-9 and 1099's and anything else to prove they are a business or that it is for work. "It's for work" is sufficient.

I told them I’m a business but at a residents’ location. They stated they don’t have availability for residents but obviously due to the fact that I’m an independent contractor at home I asked if it counts.

Right? And it’s not like we can straight up say we’re in the adult industry when applying for something new and the fear of being turned down is obviously valid. She just asked the name of my business and I just said I’m an artist/performer…hoping that’s enough to qualify just so I can stream at around 50mbps upload lol.

I hope they come to their senses, because fiber is by far the best solution. As an alternative you could consider 5G mobile broadband if that is available, I am currently using this and the speed is pretty good, speedtest was done on my laptop on a wifi connection:

I have used powerline adapters for over 10 years in older properties wiring updated 25 years ago, I don't use them in the property I stream from BUT I can highly recommend them and cable from them to desktop PC or laptop. In my streaming property I use a very long LAN cable.

I want to get this next if I can’t change providers, I’m just so confused as to which to buy without breaking the bank.

You can't beat Ethernet with power line adapters. You said you are already using ethernet right? Assuming you mean Ethernet directly connected to your modem or router then that's it you are good to go on your end.

I just wondered because my stream was still lagging with an ethernet cable connected to my router to my laptop.

I don’t know about any of this stuff for multi streaming so you guys are talking to a total newbie here.

Would you say it's more stable than an eero6+ mesh? Because that's what I currently have in the front of the house but need to get a second one to reach the back.
I've used them in Australia when I lived in a very long house. Wifi had difficulty getting the 50 metres to the other end of the house, but the powerline adapters worked great. I had older slower ones, but the newer will work great.
