Happened all night tonight in my favourite models room and she's streaming on other sites perfectly. Hell on earth and it's losing tippers for models.

I don't necessarily mind the "Trying to reconnect" thing at my end but often it kicks the broadcaster from the room as well - i.e. unable to PM, go private etc. She also communicates verbally so a lot of stuff is lost with the buffering. And it's not just me. As the moderator, I can see people who are actively tipping then leaving and re-joining the room constantly which to me is indicative of them constantly refreshing the page in order to get a better stream. Yesterday people were being forced to choose between sound or a fluid image. You couldn't have both together.

yesss its happening!! I think servers are overloaded too. On wednesday i was using RTM server and all the time my bitrate was dropping to 0, on other pages was ok becase im multistreaming, so i switched to another and was better.
Another observation, i was online 4,5 h and first few h my traffic almost didnt exist, wft- people were instantly leavin and traffic sucked as fuck- i checked and that moment was around 100 pages. Also when its happenng i have feeling that site is slow, timer which showing whenwe can announce that we are online is freezing and so on and so on, And then around 8 pm i just saw people started coming to my room and got tippers, started doing show and traffic was ok- i checked and was 85 pages. I have feeling that site is not handling good with big number of broadcasters online because mostly when is around 100+ pages - my room is almost dead.

Actually I had this problem almost all the time. Especially the birthed one. But now it has become too bad. I used to think it was because of multiple streams, but other sites got a good connection without any problems, only chaturbate.

I also noticed a conflict between stripchat and chaturbate (if you do a lot of streaming broadcasts via obs). Chaturbate needs more than 2000, and stripchat does not accept such settings. That's why I had to give up OBS and use other programs that allow you to make individual settings.

When I read about the reconnection issue I went to check it out on chaturbate Indeed, only one model did not have a constant camera loading from all models on the first page. I'm sure this never happened when viewing 720. Something similar happened when the broadcast was 4k, but if you change it lower, everything returned to normal. (I'm talking about this from the user's side). I can imagine how annoying this is for models.

Oh, I remembered a similar problem I had a few years ago. (I rarely broadcast now).
Once I was broadcasting and I couldn't see what was happening in my chat (messages, tokens). After some time I saw a failure on my side (before that everything worked fine, there were no notifications)
When I refreshed the page, I saw that one of the users was writing me a message and sending tokens. (Something from the menu type). I can imagine his disappointment when he paid and didn't even receive an answer. Unfortunately he left and I couldn't even explain to him that it was a problem with the site. (the tip was too big to ignore).

? Unless that's changed in the last year or so you can send 1080p to stripchat and CB at 5000 bitrate without an issue. If I recall correctly 8000 gets you a little warning saying bitrate is too high on stripchat.

Yes, that Problem was over a year ago, I haven't tried my luck again. Setting all this up takes time, so the golden rule applies if working - don't touch it!) hehe. But I remember that at 5000 stripchat refused to launch it at all.
To be honest, sometimes I open the camera in the browser without any programs (if the Lovens window is not important). And it works just as well, sometimes I think the quality is even better.

Usually the first indication for me that something is wrong is when I don't hear the tip noise when I tip. Not on the model's side I mean. I mean the localised sound you get. Usually all the tips go through but I've had a few instances where I've tipped and it left my account but didn't register with the model. Single token tips so no issue but it shows that when CB starts to go a bit fruity then there are a range of unpredictable problems beyond simple buffering.

Today was something else: anonymous were showing up in my room and then for FEW MINS ! they all disappeared together and then again back with the same amount as before- this issue i had for few hours. Again timer to announce that we are online was freezing and when i checked was 104 pages with broadcasters. I dont know if popular models also has this problems, but i heard that cb cant handle so many broadcasters, so they are limiting bandwith in less popular rooms or something like that.

Today I experienced almost no lagging or buffering so far in the room I visited, a nice change from the last few days

About bufferbate- some observations also from yesterday. Im using british VPN because it gives me waaay bigger traffic on mfc, on cb not so much, but for mfc is worth to use it . In OBS global main fastest recomended server when u use UK, is RTM - Rotterdam. In the past it was my fav server, no issues no lags and many times i was choosing it even without VPN. Yesterday when i was starting \my stream around 2pm eu time, i couldnt connect in OBS- some error was like: cant find stream key or smthng and i needed switch to Amsterdam. Few days ago my bitrate was going to 0 on that server so needed use another one. Looks like ,except all site issues their servers are overloaded. But well , when i use VPN british, also french , main fastest recommended is Rotterdam, maybe they need some new more servers . Also few times i was testing finland server Helsinki and no matter if i use vpn or not - instantly bitrate dropping down . Also i couldnt use warsaw server in the past ( I live in Warsa btw), so i needed switch to Frankfurt. So in my opinion some servers works, some sucks, so those which works can be overloaded

Anhother observation after today. It started good- people were coming, chatting, being active- about first 30 mins of my stream. Then in one moment bitrate dropped down to 0, then to 20 000+ and after this- everybody left and even if i was doing show for loooong time for very active mfc guys today, on cb i earned some pennies and every user was instantly leaving.

Yup been having this problem with one particular models room on CB - when I go to her other site no issues at all. It seems to me that CB need to spend out on some better hardware.

The thing is it's costing models money because who's going to risk a pvt when it's as bad as it is.

You have this in one room or in more? I mean im curious if its problem on whole page from viewers perpective or is a kind of shadowban or they just really dont have enough bandwith so they limiting it in smaller rooms

Chaturbate is definitely full of models and members thinking that the issue is local to them. Their internet, their software etc. The Status page just seems to continually present a 100% rosy picture because the information presented there is a mostly binary - site up or site down. It doesn't really reflect poor experience when streaming or viewing, so long as the page is "up".

I checked out a couple of other rooms one had the same issue one didn't.
