Breaking the rules?

First of all, I apologize if this has been discussed, but I cannot find it with the search function.

So, I am new (haven't even done my first show yet) and want to make sure that I get everything right. I've been watching a lot of shows, and have seen many (most) girls masturbating in the free, public chat.

From the rules page:

"What you can / cannot do on camera.

Our rules are extremely important and you must follow them. If anyone encourages you to break the rules, please Contact Model Support.
In Public/Free Chat...
You can chat, talk, dance, have fun, etc.
Even full nudity is OK if it is done in a tasteful, beautiful way.

So, my question is, do people get in trouble for this? The idea of only doing it in the paid chat seems like a better idea (for me, personally) but it practically seems necessary to do the public shows. Do these girls get in trouble? I don't want to get kicked off and I certainly do not want to masturbate in front of a bunch of free users and then have the few tokens that I receive taken away from me for breaking the rules.

As an aside, if you're more comfortable doing stuff in paid chat only, look into streamate, which is more of a private-based site, as opposed to a tipping site.

I was thinking about (and am waiting to be approved for) Streamate, but am sort of drawn to MFC. I think I am comfortable with the free users watching, just not excited by the prospect of being banned! I'm actually more excited by/comfortable with the idea of starting out with groups more than one on one as I get a hang of things. I don't know, I am just rambling at this point, sorry. I really appreciate your advice, though!

If MFC banned models for public masturbation, they'd have like six models left. They definitely look the other way on that one.

Streamate would actually probably be a great site to start out on so you can get a feel for how camming works. MFC has a very unforgivable system in that if you don't hit the ground sprinting, you'll be left way behind. It is possible to pull your camscore back up and still make good money, but streamate is a lot more ranking friendly in that you need less luck and more technical specs to be placed higher up on the list of online models.
