Hi everyone, - I posted another blog post over at CB Explorer:

I had people take guesses on what the most frequent (self-reported) age of Chaturbate performers is (based on their birthday setting) and then ran the numbers - the vast majority of folks got it wrong. Can you take a guess?

Mostly trivia, but with some insights!

I know that for some of the ages, you appear in MORE categories, and some models know that, so I think they try and use that to their advantage.
It's usually one thing I will mention or suggest to models, too.

Like, if you set your age as 30, you will appear in the 21-30 and 30-50 cams.
Set yourself to 18, you appear in Teen Cams, and also 18, and 18-21
Set yourself to 50, you appear in 30-50 and also Mature.

So I think some just use that to their advantage personally, which I don't blame them.

That could potentially explain some of the round number bias I mentioned - in particular age 30 sounds advantageous since you would appear both in the 20-30 and 30-50 category

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me so long as they're legally of age and do this of their own free will.
