Best Payment Method for someone who cant get a bank account

My friend just started on MFC and she can not get a bank account.

Right now shes getting her checks mailed to her, but I was wondering which method such as Payoneer, AlertPay etc is the best?

For me Payoneer was the only choice, and the cardgot hee super fast. The money is there same day paid. The charges may suck but for now (because I can't get a bank account) the convenience is worth it.

Not to be nosy but I thought being able to get a bank account is a pretty standard thing? It is over here at least, so long as you have some ID

Hmm I just looked up what that is...that's really messed up. It's almost impossible to get any kind of regular job without a bank account, and wouldn't people being forced to find alternate payment methods also encourage tax evasion?

Being able to get at least a basic savings account without the availability of overdrafts, cheques, or credit cards should be a right of every citizen imo.

BTW I had a string of small negative balances in various accounts that I just abandoned when I was younger too, luckily over here they really don't bother with it unless you're talking thousands - but even then they'd just send debt collectors after you, you could still open a bank account.

Yeah I could get an account if I eliminate a few small debts at two banks (both under $100) who screwed my accounts over - or else I wouldn't have been in the negative - and I'm too stubborn to pay it until I hit that point where I have the money and I'm done dealing with CheX bullshit and I need once. It's like a credit check but 8320498304989r83q9483q0 times worse. Yes with the qs and rs too.

I swear by payoneer. It's great, quick, and I've never had any issues. There are a few small fees, but it's well worth it as far as I'm concerned.

i also love payoneer! Money has never been late once . . . you can use it at a credit card once your cash is loaded or take it out at the atm.

Your should be able to at least open a savings account if you have cash to put in

on the bank account thing, have you considered a pre paid debit card? they often work just like a bank

You can't sign up through their site, you have to sign up with an affiliate (i.e. payment options on MFC).

If you use MFC daily pay and have a Payoneer card, no there's no minimum for payout. Same thing with daily pay for AdultWork and Streamate...NO payout minimum. This is good, because it's always annoyed me how cam sites require you to earn x amount before issuing your payment.

It's been so long since I've been on MFC's regular pay schedule (1st and 16th) that I forgot what their minimum is for everyone else. Isn't it $50?

Look into Credit Unions instead of banks. There is one here that has a couple different options when it comes to checking accounts. If you can't get a standard checking account they have another type account that is exactly the same but you just don't get checks. You will get a debit card and can deposit and cash checks (also direct deposit) and I think they said no minimum amount. Plus you don't get the whole bank fee bullshit with credit unions, at least not on the same scale you see with banks.

It's like an invite thing, you can't click on something and do it, I switched my payment option, then got an e-mail stating that I got a payonoeer invite from MFC.

I have my MFC pay loaded on my prepaid visa that Walmart has. The company is called GE Moneybank and you will also have a routing number and account number if you want any direct deposit to be put on it. Very much like a checking/savings account except that there is no actual branch to go to. My paypal and everything is connected to this card as well. Also, if lets say you are in a bind or if someone is sending you money from far away, then its not a problem. They can just go to a local walmart, rite-aid or anyplace that sells the "greendot money cards" and put money on your account right away.

I think monthly fees are $4.95 or something a month but are waived if you load $1000 a month on it, which isnt hard to do if your a camgirl. You will also recieve monthly statements on your account activity.

I agree, the idea of not being able to open a bank account is just bizarre to me! I also had a few negative balance bank account when I was younger. I just left them and ignored all the letters and they eventually just closed. Lol

Some one here knows how much money you can get paid on payoneer I've read 5k dollars but also that depends on the bank :/

I agree, the idea of not being able to open a bank account is just bizarre to me! I also had a few negative balance bank account when I was younger. I just left them and ignored all the letters and they eventually just closed. Lol

Yeah it must be a cultural difference I guess - in Australia anyone can have a bank account, even homeless people, and in fact they couldn't even recieve welfare without one - or any kind of (legal) wage.

Hell, I can't even remember. It's been so long since I was on that normal MFC pay schedule. I know that at one point, I accidentally signed up with a MFC studio that required a minimum of $50. But that was a long time ago.

For wire transfers, MFC has a minimum...

They don't appear to have one for direct deposit, but I don't know about other methods cause direct deposit was always how I got my check.

I forget the exact details... but wasn't there an issue with one of the payment services MFC used a year or so back? I remember a Canadian model bitching about it at the time & it mostly affected models outside the USA because the service wasn't popular with US models

The way I think the story went was the US Dept of Treasury was imposing new regulation on electronic payment services to close some loop hole on the transfer of money (It was "terrorist" related from what I remember)... and one of the payment services MFC was using to get money to the models had refused to oblige the US and follow the new regulations... and was subsequently denied the ability to work with any company in the USA... all these model couldn't get paid because their money wound up in some sort of electronic limbo because there was no way to transfer the money without using a service provided through the USA... The last I remember hearing was MFC official policy was they transferred the money to this electronic payment service so it wasn't their problem... and the models that had their money in limbo never got it

MFC don't seem to offer PayPal as a payment option anymore, I had to switch to AlertPay (which I find slow and I don't like their fees)
