Though she's also missing the text at the top (I wonder how many girls don't realize it's missing? Or am I the only one who thinks this is as important as I think it is?) Holliecakes' has been my favorite for a long while now.

I totally agree, most of my favorite profiles have no mfc link or direct link to the models room via the online link. When I go I have to open a new page to open up mfc and find the model through all the heads but since no offline/online I don't even know if she's on and sometimes I get distracted once on homepage and visit another model instead, Of course I know how to enter the direct link to a models room to see but I try to do things as someone using it for the first time and think it could be hard for new viewers/fans.

I knew I forgot someone on my list. Hollie has a wonderful profile!
And I don't think the part at the top is important at all :think:

As a member I think the links at the top are half important.

In most cases I have found a profile because I'm already in that model's room. So what do I care about the links at the top? I'm already there.

But SOMETIMES I check a profile from this forum and then when there are no links I have to goto the homepage and search to see if she's online. Can be a bummer.

She did PlayboyMegan's too, and inspired me to do mine. (Which is a work in progress.)

I love that yours is so short and sweet, right to the point. I see a lot of profiles where I can't find anything and just have to leave. Yours is just so organized and I love that. :)

Thank you! I still need to get a few different browsers and make sure everything works, lol. Here here for improvisory hack and slash coding!

I made my profile before my first broadcast. I definitely need to make some changes. Thanks for the tip Kunra and Amber. I only removed the top information for aesthetics. I love what Bunny did for hers and how the room link stays at the top as you scroll.

http://profiles.myfreecams.com/Teacakes420 is amazing and personable.

I think adding a direct link to your room in your profile can eliminate the need for the links at the top.

Something that says "ONLINE NOW! CLICK HERE!" would be awesome.

I don't know if it's possible to create your own graphic that accurately shows when you are on/offline, but it would be cool

There are so many that have some awesome qualities I remember. At this point instead of making a half page list I will simply say the short and sweet or more simple are usually my favs. While I appreciate the artistry and the ability to create the ones with all involved bells n whistles, some tend to go overboard. I will compare them to trying to find a place to add another neon sign on the Vegas strip or Times Square... :lol: Those I frequently see whats coming and back up to the "rate me" stars and then leave.
RE the 'online now' thingy... It'd be cool to have a TV screen sitting off to the side or top corner somewhere [maybe like an old console tv] that would cycle between a test pattern (offline) and a screen shot (online) that you could click to take you direct to the room.

Personally, I think the last login and last update are fairly important, if you want traffic from people that actually read your profiles. If the profile is just there for the people that happen to stumble into your room, then I suppose they are not that important.

As someone who reads profiles, if I have no clue when the last time you were on and if there is no indication when you are normally online, I will probably forget about finding your room when I am online. Maybe the model has not been on in the last few months, it is nice to know if the model is still active on MFC. :twocents-02cents:

I think you did well with it and it made me look forward in seeing you online.

Thank you ladies!

The guy who did NikiSkyler's profile (and some others) is a friend of mine and I enjoy learning about design and coding and such so he helps me out with questions but I do the design myself. Flattered you guys noticed & liked it :dance:

I took the text at the top out with coding because I thought it looks messy & isnt really important. YOu mean where it says model - offline - return to profile page and stuff like that?

But after reading through all this you make interesting points.. I never really thought of my profile as being used for anything other than finding additional info on me and my contests etc either while I was online or from my twitter link. So i might see if theres somewhere else I can put when I last logged in, if I'm currently online etc.

There have been a few times that I use the "send MFC mail" link at the top of a model's profile. It's easier than going to my MFC mail page, typing in her name, and sending it from there. And I do like seeing the "last logged on" text if I'm trying to see if it's been a while since she logged on, etc.

I find it important, but others may not. *shrug*

I'm still trying to figure out how we get the top line to show/not show. I think it's showing on mine?

I see what I think they are talking about on your profile Luna.

Via CSS properties.

So under "Customise" you can go to "Edit your css directly".

Code:
.status_key {
display:none;
}
.status_value {
display:none;
}

What this is doing is saying - for the class status_key (matches a <td class="status_key"> tag) and status_value, set the property of display to none. You could narrow it down further by defining within a certain heirarchy on the page (if there were two uses of the same class, but different hierarchy, you could therefore target just one).

It means it is no longer "there" for all intents and purposes.
This means this line:
Status: Online - Premium - Send a MyFreeCams Mail - Leave a Comment

will disappear.

This is my entire css code

Code:
a:link,a:active,a:hover {
	color:#3333ff;
}

a:visited   {
	color:#3333ff;
}

body {
	background-color: #cc99ff;
	background-position: top left;
	background-attachment: fixed;
	background-repeat: repeat;
}

body,td {
	color: #330066;
	font-family: 'Georgia';
	font-weight: normal;
	font-style: ;
	font-size: 16px;
}

td .clock	{	font-size:9px;	}

.container_padding {
	padding:	4px;
	height:	100%;
}

.container_transparency {
	height:100%;
	width:100%;
	background-color: #;
	filter:alpha(opacity=0);
	background:;
}
.container {
	color: #330066;
	position:relative;
	border: px  #;
	padding:	4px;
	height: 100%;
	background-color:transparent;
}

.container .heading {
	padding: 4px;
	background-color: #cc99ff;
	color: #990066;
	font-family: 'Helvetica';
	font-weight: bold;
	font-style: italic;
	font-size: 24px;
}

.content {
	padding:4px;
}

I do not see anything about that in there... does that mean it only shows that if you don't have it?
