VISA gift cards? Refillable debit cards? Which do you use to buy tokens? Which are accepted by the MFC credit card processors?

I have a second debit card for a second checking account from my bank I use. It was free. I use it for any and all my online buying.

I wonder what the stats would look like comparing debit type cards to regular credit cards? My guess is people using debit cards buy fewer tokens.

I don't typically use my credit card for token purchases. I prefer to use my debit card since I treat token spending as part of my normal "entertainment" budget spending. I have through work/vendors received some "Visa/Mastercard" gift cards and I usually use those for free token splurges. If someone gives me an American Express gift card I usually just purchase visa gift card from walmart and then dump it on tokens.

I haven't considered using a one of those cards you can reload, as it just seems tedious. But, I understand why some may choose to go that route.

I wouldn't say people who use debit cards outright buy fewer tokens. If you are super liquid it doesn't matter if you are using credit cards or debit cards. If you are trying to big dog when you don't have the funds you are probably more likely to max out credit cards before overdrafting on a bank account.

I just use my normal mastercard that I put almost all of my spending on. Don't see why I'd need a separate credit card for MFC - can someone explain?

One problem with these cards as far as I know is they work great for tokens but can not be used for re-curring payments. So I don't think you can use them for something like patreon.

I also wish there were more options to gift money internationally. PayPal can do it but not a great option at all.
