I made my account at home for myself after which I decided to go to a studio because I liked it there at first. Over time the environment has become totally hostile non copesthetic and they are constantly paying me considerable amounts less then what my streamate earnings are showing me . Over 70$ 2 weeks in a row was taken from me for supposedly not having enough online time although I had over 1200 mins of weekly online time for both of those weeks where money was taken. I feel as though they constantly make up rules to take extra money from me any way they can . On top of that they can be very rude disrespectful and plain unprofessional whenever I come to them with any issues. I love working for streamate and I want nothing more then to continue doing that. I feel so trapped . I want to know what I should do ? Should I close my own account before the studio can ? What are my options to continue making money with streamate. This is my full time job I can't afford to take 6 months off and I don't have a back up job. I literally feel as though I'm being held hostage. I'm afraid if I leave the studio will close my account and reopen it multiple times in an attempt to keep me from making a new account. This has happened to models I personally know . All I want is to cam independently FOR streamate at home. :-( help..

@AliciaLeigh was able to switch to independent on steammate by working with steammate support. (refining @AliciaLeigh post in the thread Rules of MFC and Leaving Studio Thread.)

You might want to consider setting up another method of communication with your regulars. For instance twitter or snapchat. That way if things do go south; you still have a way to communicate with your regulars.
