Like the title says, probably beating a dead horse here as I've read about this a lot but I can't seem to find an answer that satisfies my curiosity. My question is about Chaturbate and viewer counts.
So there is me, I've scammed for about 2 months now and use primarily 3 sites at once so thankfully my income isn't dependent on one site or the other. I do pretty well making a couple thousand a month(pretty well by my standards) but I see some weird trend on Chaturbate.
I first had an account on chaturbate that I would only get about 10 or so viewers when I first started. When I read about this issue many models would say it's my show could be boring, or I don't have the personality for camming, etc. I also read though that Chaturbate has a bug sometimes on certain profiles and that my account could of had some weird setting I didn't see. So I restarted an account a month later and my viewers definitely went up(this was without my followers from my old account even. ) I was now averaging 40-70 people a show compared to the 5-15 from a week before. Nothing had changed about my shows or looks. One of the main reasons I started a new account was because many people were telling me they'd join my room and my room would freeze up on them and kick them out(even after being in it for 5-10mins). Some people STILL report this happening even in my new room. I've sent multiple tickets to Chaturbate and they have of course not replied to me.
The thing that makes me question things about the site though is how these brand new models who have no followers, bad camera quality, do nothing special that other models don't do, and have 200+ people in their room. Somehow some of these models with the new tag even get pushed to the first page before they have even 50 people into their room?
I get the whole "looks don't matter, personality is needed for camming, etc etc" but something just seems off about that. That some people can work for months building up their follows and average less than 100 or even 50 viewers but another person starts and day one has over 200 people in their room without doing anything unique or special? I like to think I put on a good show. I am on the first page of one of my cam sites but on Chaturbate there seems to be an issue getting over the hump?
I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, had this experience, or have had any issues similar to mine while on Chaturbate?
Again! Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here.
