I am new to mfc and I have really been enjoying it. My first two weeks were great! But after that things just got really slow.
I was wondering if it was because I am a larger woman. Are there any thicker models who are JUST as successful as the smaller ones?

If you look at the current Miss MFC top 20, the only girl who is not skinny is ImNotAnAngel, and even she's just a tad bit soft.

I'm not sure what you were expecting. MFC is just a reflection of real-life desires. The market for BBWs is out there, but it's much smaller than the market for, well, smaller girls.

while there are ways to be successful on mfc as a larger girl i do agree that top 20 tend to be very thin women. our culture is one that dictates such things...im a size 10 to 14 depending on brand and i consider myself normal.. but on mfc i get a lot of bbw and "curvy" comments... and i definitely feel were i a size 6 or smaller and more toned i would do better... but all that being said size doesn't really matter if you have good proportions as in large breasts small waist and fairly flat tummy... even if you dont if you have confidence and an engaging personality and a overall fun room you can do very well for yourself.

tho they tell me alot they are not always atractive to bigger women.

and please forget about beeing succesful.. it wont happen (in terms of beeing in the top 50)
you can build your fan base just fine.. but you wont get 100+ people in your room and neither will you be in the top20

Personally, I don't know how people think those super-thin stick figure supermodels are attractive. That's just plain unhealthy if you ask me. I'd be afraid of breaking them during a good romp.

There's something for just about everybody on MFC, give it time and you may find the perfect niche for you.

i totally agree.. its the only reason i dont feel like i should loose weight to look pretty
but.. on mfc there is a big we hate fat girls thing...

I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way but I have seen you online once and it could have just been a bad day for you. But from what i saw I think you have a lot more to worry about then just your size to be honest. You looked like you had just woken up and just hopped on cam, you weren't really engaging with the members and just seemed angry, bored and just didn't want to be there. I'm not sure if things are like that everyday for you or not. But before you put the blame on your weight I think you should fix those other issues. You kind of have to put more of an effort into it. Work with your lighting, put on something that enhances your curves, and just look like your having fun and you like what you do. I've trained a couple of models in my time and it's funny how such simple advice such as "looking like you want to be there" helped them a ton. I really hope that non of that came off the wrong way! I wish you luck

When talking about BBWs, I'd like to point out there's a huge difference between a "Big Beautiful Woman" and a fat ugly woman. Some women hold their weight MUCH better than other women (curves, baby!), and some women would be unattractive even if skinny.

While there's a market for everything on MFC, the BBWs with an emphasis on "beautiful" will probably do the best.

WOW! I love this thread, I am not sure the criteria for BBW but I am not a stick figure! I am new to MFC, and I had those nasty trolls too. I also have a few friends and some regulars that like a girl with some meat. I know I will NEVER be top 20 but that was never a goal for me anyway.

Thank you for pointing this out!! I get A LOT of people in my chat and they say "you're not a bbw" and I just respond by saying you don't have to be 600 pounds to be a bbw. I am BIG (not morbidly obese, sorry I am actually proportioned well)and well gee, i think im cute! lol, and well the women part is a given.

People know when you are not confident and feel insecure. I came on this website and was worried about the way I look, then decided I don't really give a shit, people can click next! Other than that I'm just completely in the camera, I am workin' with what my momma gave me! Top 20 is definitely not realistic, however I'd like to be in the top 1000 sometime, maybe top 500. I don't think that's true at all! If you want it bad enough and are willing to work to get regulars you can definitely be successful on MFC no matter what your size.

I suppose my answer is by questioning how you define success on MFC? By camscore, by being top 20, by overall placement (even not being top 20), or just simply by how much money you make?

I'm 5'5/6" and hover around 200lbs. I've been told I look like less, and been told I'm cute, adorable, etc etc.... and of course everyone, including 150lb models get the all ever retarded "your fat" comments from people who pop in just to say that and leave :lol:

Have I ever been top 20? Not even close lol. The idea sounds great, but being a bigger girl or not, I simply don't have the time to put in to even possibly entertain the idea of top 20 at this point. (I have a FT job also) So for me, whether I'm "successful" or not depends on how much money I make. Right now my camscore is hovering between 3500-4000, in MAJOR part to a particular premium who tips me a lot, and often. And actually my camscore would probably be nearing 5000-ish (based on previous tracking of what offline tips do to my camscore), but instead I asked my best tipper to send me money on PayPal this month instead lol This month I decided to be greedy haha.

When I decided to go ahead and try this, I would've been thrilled at making an extra $200 for an entire month. Of course this was before I had a full understanding of how much more is out there My goal of $200 quickly turned into $2k 2 months into camming lol. IMO, if you can make $2k in a month and work very very little for it, then hell yeah that's successful! :-D I got lucky and found my good tipper in my first 2 weeks. Without him I'd probably make half of that, probably even less than half. And my camscore would probably still be fighting to at least stay above 1,000.

And if you didn't know, there are BBW cam sites out there. I think one is called allbbwcams.com or something like that. I thought about trying things on there, but the girls I have seen on there are reeeeally big lol. Definitely not BBWs, more like SSBBW (which if you didn't know, and I just found this out the other day, is Super Sized BBW). At least 90% of what I have seen on there is more along the lines of SSBBW. I'd like to think/hope I don't fit into that category :-D I even put BBW in my name temporarily (before someone suggested curvy) and it was repeatedly day after day "you aren't BBW" comments It got aaaaaaannoying! From the figures I've heard of what it takes to be in the top 20... and I'm going off of the average for the month of November how many tokens I made and how many hours I spent on cam, had I done what I did on a scale roughly 12x more, I should've hit the average minimum to be top 20. I would've needed to spend an average of 36 hours on cam a week, as compared to the whopping 12 hours I spent on cam for the entire month lol. So, it can be done, for sure. Of course I definitely don't have the time for that, and not so sure I could pull through to put THAT much time into camming. But maybe one of these days when I have more time

Maybe you did catch me on a bad day, or maybe It was another model. lol I usually always have my hair and makeup done when I go on. And I am always trying to interact with the members. I have definitely been doing better now. I think I am slowly starting to figure it out. If i spent more time on MFC I would probably be doing better. To the person who said that I shouldn't expect to get over 100 in my room I actually just accomplished that a few days ago! And I am getting awesome regulars. My cam score is super low though. It sucks but I think if I stick to it im going to be able to be successful. I find when I do token Count downsI make more money then If i just ask them to tip. Being a successful BBW means NOT thinking of it as 'being a successful BBW'. You're a successful WOMAN! I find that when I take my weight out of the picture, and I just do my best, I do very well. I'm a size 18, (I don't put this on my prof, but I'm 5'7" 230lbs) which is pretty damn big, but I've actually only had ONE negative comment, and that was my first night. Most people who don't like me, I assume, see my confidence and leave. I still keep waiting to be called 'fat' but no one dares.

If you don't focus on the weight, you're more likely to realize problems with cam/lighting/clothing/makeup/attitude rather than just baliming it on "They don't like me cause I'm fat" It's pretty rare I think about my weight while on cam. I'm here to be pretty, friendly, engaging, smart, funny, and to show off my boobies, haha!

I've only been on a few weeks and have been forced to be mostly off for the same number of weeks, but when I was on I was climbing the ranks by 300 a night. Will I ever reach top 20? No idea, that's not my goal. Sorry Jebbaz.. My goal is to be the best version of myself and I judge my success by the friends I meet as much as the money I make. I consider myself wildly successful. Of course my goal may change, as I am excited at the prospect of a bigger girl (I don't say curvy because as NOT big as she is, Amber is the curviest woman I've ever seen. I mean that in the BEST way possible, with lots of jealousy thrown in!) in the top 20. Who knows? But I don't feel like it's a goal I need right now.

Oh, and I've had 300 in my room once. I stay consistently around 100 when topless, 50-70 when just chatting. I don't attribute it to finding just BBW-fetishists. I have all sorts in my room, because there are awesome, decent men on here who care about more than size.
