Gamerinline on MFC openly admitted that he was recording my show. I banned him but should I do anything else? I know we get recorded all the time by bots but it put me off my show and I had to leave. Really put a dampener on the mood in the room. :/

Is it against MFC's TOS to record streams? If so, send them screenshots of what he said if you have any. Or even a time stamp if MFC keeps chat logs.
Get him banned from MFC as well.

Since MFC has his info, could they send him a DMCA warning on your behalf?

I don’t have screenshots but I do know the time he did it so I’m hoping they can find it. When I banned him his comments disappeared. Depends if he’s uploaded it anywhere or not I think.

I pretty much agree with what the other commenter said, but I'm curious: How did the member bring it up to that he did that? Was it all casual-like, as if it was totally normal and nothing wrong?

You should always work under the assumption that your public and private shows are being recorded, screenshotted, whatever, and that whatever you do on the internet will stay there forever, and you need to be okay with that.

Just to be clear was he talking about recording your public chat session or was he talking about a private session which MFC lets you access a recorded archive of? I was in a room just the other day the model banned a member who was just saying he rewatched a recording of a pvt session with her through the archive. Sometimes it doesn't seem models are aware members get that on MFC.

You should be able to find it in your chat logs, everything gets saved.

The title says "basic", so it sounds like he's a basic member, so he's never purchased tokens and wouldn't have any private archives to watch.

It's pretty much why I quit camming on MFC. After a long break of not camming, I decided to start up again at the start of 2017. Sure, beforehand, I would have my shows recorded and put online, but it seemed occasional. This time, literally every one of my shows was being recorded and were super-easy to find.

I think over the years, the bots that are set to record every single public show have increased in amount and power.
