I'm really surprised how good this looks. Which is a good thing, I hope.

I'll wait until I see the final movie it to judge, but there's some unnecessary changes on the trailer that make me worry (why is the Animus like that in the movie? Why is Abstergo treated like a prison instead of a corporation with deep secrets?). The trailer also doesn't give much of an idea of what the storyline is about - it could be just a bad movie tie-in to the games, but I'm hoping that Ubisoft has maintained strong editorial control over the script to keep it close to the original ideas.

They were basically a prison in the first game. And I wouldn't put it past them to own some prisons, really.

All i can say is it has great production values. Of course, nice aesthetics don't make a quality movie so we'll see.

Looks good but it's a bit of a turn off that they wrote a brand new story. I'm cool with it but I'd love to see some Ezio or Altair in the big screen
