Who gets more tips, Amy or Mimi? (i.e. Do stream gimmicks (games/lotteries/dice/etc.) really work?)

I'm a pretty new cammer (femboy/sub bottom on Chaturbate and Stripchat [and BongoCams but that place sucked so I left]) and I've made about $1000 in my first six weeks or so of regular-ish 4-8hr streams. I'm pretty pleased with that, certainly relative to what I've read on here and other fora*, but I've been trying to attract more viewers with some of those gimmicks people talk about in the "tips for a newcomer" and "why am I doing so badly" threads, i.e. play a game like Strip Battleship, have people tip to roll a die for how many spanks you get, sacrifice a goat to Baphomet before each stream, etc. and I have gotten NOT ONE SINGLE BITE. Whenever I've tried one, whether on a good night or a bad night, literally nobody has paid to roll the die, or choose a grid coordinate, etc.

So anyway it got me thinking – is this one of those times where hot people think their ideas are good but really it's just that they're hot? Like I'm not ugly by any means (and this ass is, frankly, excellent), but I feel like other than "have a different theme each stream", which I can at least imagine being a way of standing out on the grid, I almost never see anybody using these kinds of games. Sometimes I see the "spin the wheel" thing but even that is rare.

My question is: in your experience, does this stuff really work?
Imagine two identical models, Amy and Mimi, who stream in identical rooms with identical setups and tip menus and whatever, except Mimi has a game of strip battleship in one corner of her stream as well.

A. Mimi would get more viewers and more tips, because this kind of gimmick does work.
B. Mimi may not get more viewers, but she'll keep the viewers that are there more engaged and therefore will get more tips.
C. None of this matters. Amy and Mimi would do equally well because they're identical and games are a net neutral.
D. Amy would get more viewers because she wouldn't have that extra clutter covering her stream.

Thanks!!!
Holly

PS
Ooh, also, while I've got you here, a few other questions if you should feel like answering them:
1. How do you deal with the boredom? I know you're not supposed to talk to people who don't pay but I just get so borreeeddd and I don't wanna look it by scrolling and not paying attention.
2. Right now I've got my phone set up as my main camera on a tripod and then my laptop facecam in the corner. I tend to show my ass (panties on) the whole time cuz I figure that's what will get people to click the room, but is that giving too much away? I'm not being self-depricating when I say I don't think my face, barely-any-boobs and slight belly would be enough of a draw, especially in an already niche category. But I also don't want people to nut to me without paying... XD
3. I have my Lovense set to buzz at any tip at all. I feel like it gives me more to react to/play with and keeps the room interesting and alive for when a big spender comes in. That said, I worry that I'm underselling myself.

*I'm the worst, I'm sorry.

This is not an easy and straightforward question to answer because it really and truly depends on the model in question, how engaging they are, and how many viewers they attract. What KIND of viewers they attract, and what kind of mood those users are in,

From a PERSONAL perspective as a user/tipper, I would (for me) vote D because I dislike the extra clutter.
I have an extension to select specific elements on pages to block them (not an ad blocker). On stripchat, I have disabled the wheel and games on there, covering the screen, and it includes when the wheel etc is being spun too. It made my personal viewing experience much better and happier.

On CB it's similar, although they don't have the screen clutter, they do have the chat clutter. I use the Fanberry extension, which helps remove that clutter, so it's better for me, and I don't get all those app/bot messages.

But generally speaking, I do think games are preferred. Just keep changing it up with different items, themes, prices, and see what makes people take a bite.
I see a lot of naked etc models who have games and they rarely get a bite on their games, but the ones who I know are no nude or only nude in private seem to get more people playing the games, and to be honest the game options/winning choices are a bit more fun and entertaining. Typically the nude/sex models will have the "flash" options, spank, oil, you know, all the obvious stuff..

E. It depends on the members that are in the room.

The games and stuff dont necessarily bring in more viewers, the dont necessarily bring in more tips unless the viewers in the room enjoy playing the games or there is a big value payoff for doing so you may also get more people playing. For example if you did a dice game at 25tokens and 3 of the prizes were "drop 100 tokens off the goal", as long as you normally hit your goal it becomes an incentive for them to play, since they have the possibility of making their tokens go 4x further. I found that you need to change things up pretty often when you are running games because they get stale quick.

If you have something new then it can give a slight boost while it's a novelty but novelty wares off. Lovense changed the landscape of camming in a pretty big way, before lovense was almost a requirement, people would play the games and stuff more, since then the average tip dropped from 100 tokens to 1 token (from personal experience.). A big part of it comes down to how you promote the games too, just having them there isnt really enough you need to promote them like a carny trying to get people to play their games at a carnival, but you could also promote anything just as heavily and and have members tip for that.
