Hi everyone!

I was just talking with a friend of me who is a cam model and she talked to me about some users and I was really questioning.... Are people that rich??
There are many users who have just joined for like 3 months and they already are in the Royal/Legend league level.

Doing just quick maths, knowing that 1 token spent gives you 5exp and that you need like more than 4 millions exp to reach these levels, you need to spend 800 000 tokens (800 000 x 5exp = 4 000 000 exp) to get here, and knowing that the biggest tokens package is 62 000 tokens for 5000$, you need at LEAST 12 x that package of tokens to reach the 4 million exp so... 12 x 5000$ = 60 000$!!!! JESUS CHRIST!!! who would spend 60 000$ in 3 months??? thats 20k per months lollll These people spend more than my annual income in only 3 months WTF!! I recently saw someone at level 100 and joined in less than 6 months... thats almost 80k spent in 6 months JESUS!! lol

My friend think they are all rich and millionaires but I doubt.... I'm sure they are hell down indebted with tons of credit card full loaded lol What you guys think about that?

I don't see how income has anything to do with if you pick an escort or cam girl?

I could also get an escort for the amount I spend on each private.. I just prefer the cam girl, it's really as simple as that..
also they could very well be visiting both. hiring an escort doesn't gatekeep you from masturbating. also booking escorts take time. you cannot call them up like batman. if you got 10 minutes to nut before a big business meeting, you gonna visit your favorite cammodel.

If you are legally making $150k a day, why visit a cam model, and not an escort?
In addition to other points made in response to this question: Some cam models are also escorts. I couldn't say what proportion - people who work in this industry would be much more in a position to comment. But there are wealthy members who develop a connection with a model, and it might lead to discussion and provision of other services or arrangements that don't have anything to do with the cam site. There are people who utilize the sites only "as advertised," and there are also those who look for and find other situations.

But why do you care whether a wealthy person (or any person, for that matter) is visiting a cam model, or seeing an escort, or doing any other activity for entertainment?

Yes.

Usually, when a grey level one turns up in the room I am a knight in, they get muted (and banned by the model) because it is indicative of a model account. (It is almost impossible to remain at level1)
Oh, so this is real jealousy then. No one tips them that way so no one else should get it, either? Is that what I'm reading?

When you interact with these big tippers, do you sense they have body image issues, suffer from depression, harbor incel thoughts?
Biggest tip I dropped was over 40,000 tokens on my favorite model a few years ago. It was broken up into increments of 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 tokens throughout the evening. Of course she loved it. For that month I tipped her over 200,000 tokens.

When you supposedly spent $20k on a cam model in a month, did you have body image issues, suffer depression and harbor incel thoughts?

Although, with what has been shown in this thread, it seems like your post about tipping $20k worth of tokens in one month was probably some form of larping, so you could feel for a second like the men you so obviously envy.

No hate against prostitution/escorting, I personally think it should be legalized, but prostitution is still illegal in the majority of the US (and even in the counties in Nevada where it is legal, it's heavily regulated), while camming is legal, so most cam models aren't escorts and wouldn't even advertise themselves as such. At least not US based models. Even then, camming and prostitution are completely different.

I won't deny that there has probably been sugar baby/sugar daddy type relationships formed through camsites, but even then, that's a rarity. And, sugar baby/daddy relationships aren't the same as prostitution either.

I definitely wasn't trying to suggest that camming and prostitution are the same, or that many/most cam models are escorts. I would guess that it's a low percentage. I was simply replying to the "either/or" nature of the guy's question. (And trying to also ask why precisely why does he care about what other people are doing??? Which is probably another matter entirely).

As an aside, my awareness of this is limited but I'm confident in my knowledge of it at least as related to a few other models (and a couple of members that are in the general category this guy is criticizing for spending a lot of money). The models are/were all in Eastern Europe and Russia.

Could be :)

It is maybe theoretically *possible* to be a level 1 user on SC but I think you'd have to *not* confirm an email address and NEVER actually visit any models' rooms.

Although there is no actual active model called kevin4u on SC. So who reaally knows ?

Yes, I noticed that.

Information that is publicly available is called public information and therefore is not private information... private information would be things that cannot be found with a google search...like your credit card numbers, bank statements, spending history etc.

ETA: Stripchat does provide tools to block access to your profile that would make this private information, you (or whoever's account it is) has chosen not to do that so the information is now publicly available for anyone that cares to look it up.

We can have disagreements, but it’s wrong to out people on this forum. This should be a safe space for all members.

I think you are confusing "outing" with "doxxing". No one doxxed you, because no private information was shared.

Annnnnnnnd .... that's what Marti just told you.

There was no 'outing' as that would imply that someone shared something that was hideen away, which since it was public information is not the case. The thing is peoples opinion was based on an assumption founded in coincidence, you just confirmed that it is your account, before you just confirmed it, it was entirely possible that that account belonged to someone else, let's face it it's not exactly a unique username so there was a good chance that that could have been the case.

If you dont want people to be able to look up your username there are 2 things you can do.

1) set your profile to private.
2) use a different name on places you don't want to be linked together.

While I dont see the relance of your stripchat account to the current discussion, you left the information publicly accessible and even made it easier to find by using the same name here. If someone being able to put a username into google and find all other sites with that username registered makes you feel unsafe, I would recommend looking into the options the sites give to prevent this.

Edit to point out the irony that you were saying that people actual private information should be made available and how you just said that you felt like your privacy was invaded when someone shared public information about you. Think how you would have felt about the site if your spending and token purchase habits and chat logs had been made publicly available since thats what you were originally saying should be ok.

Funny how the same person who wants academic/scientific research and studies done on camsite users and wants camsite owners to make legislative testimonies so that his curiosity/obsession as to why other people spend their money the way they do can be sated, is suddenly concerned about privacy when his own publicly available information is being brought up.

Freedom of Speech really doesn't apply here, if someone says something I don't like I am free to boot at anytime, and often do.

But as a fellow Progressive I’m sure you support robust discussion within your forum.
There's a fine line between robust discussion and bullshit, so sometimes it's too much effort to decipher and I just drop a hammer to cease the annoyance.

I do not think it is about causing emotional harm.

When you present an opinion or a POV and everyone who joins the discussion points out that your point of reference / origin seems to be completely off base or invalid, it's probably time to re-evaluate your standpoint, not double down on your argument.

You *might* be the smartest and most aware person in the "room" and the rest of us are clueless fools, but when you are the lone voice, the odds are against it.

I dont think thats what he did, he just dropped the original argument and made a new one and hoped no one would notice 😂
