Anyone going to play Star Wars the Old Republic?

I haven't played any mmo's in years but plan on getting SWTOR, the whole focus on story is what's pulling me in. Can't wait for this one, anyone else planning on playing? I put my pre-order down already, lol

That game is sure to be awesome; I'll have to check Steam to see if it's up for grabs. I don't have any consoles to game on (unfortunately) but I do have a spiffy updated computer that I am trying to load a few good games with.

Apparently Steam is not going to be an option to get the game. You have to get it through Origins, which is EA's download thing I believe.

I'm very interested in it, loved Knights of the Old Republic, although I've never gotten into MMOs before.

I'm planning on trying it out, assuming my computer can handle it and I can actually afford it.

I already pre-ordered the collector's edition of the game on Amazon! Absolutely CANNOT wait to give this game a try! It's mostly the story that has pulled me in.

Same here, got the collector's and am anxious for an mmo that actually has a decent story.

I'm going to pre order it here soon.. I have played many MMOs.. including SWG which was a blast until they destroyed it.. Haven't played an MMO in bout a year now surprisingly.. Will be working out on my Xbox Kinect in the meantime :dance:

I'm wondering if there would be enough interest to try to organize the Ambercutie / mfc people to all play on the same server? I guess when it's time to launch I can throw that idea out there and anyone who wants to partake can roll on that server. I would imagine that some or most of the models would be leary to do anything that might associate them with the actual mfc members in any capacity beyond mfc, but who knows, could be fun.
