Looking for some advice and encouragement. I have been on cb for almost 1.5 years and I am so discouraged I am considering quitting for good. I cant even get users to chat in my room anymore let alone tip toward my goals. I have tried naked, teasing, and naked brings the viewers, but very few tips. I was on almost 10 hours today and made almost nothing. But the worst part is the silence despite me trying to engage with my viewers. I just get no response. It has really taken a toll on my mental health. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

It is always very slow this time of year. Like @Dan202 mentioned, there's a number of things which have impact on discretionary spending. Not just global events. But, also things such as recovery from holiday spending, taxes, family life, etc. It's been a common theme this time of year since I've been on ACF. There's another thread that talk about this as well.

I always allow all to chat, including greys. Because it is very boring when there is no one chatting. But the greys i have had hardly chat either. Besides not making money, it’s the silence that kills the room for me. I still see a lot of models on cb doing well right now, usually the ones doing explicit shows. However, I refuse to do explicit sex shows when I can’t get tips.

Take in consideration that many girls are leaving this webcam industry. Including top mfc models.: In 2020 tippers want all for cents. And thats not okay. I try to focus as much as I can on my onlyfans and social media. I cried a lot recently and binge eated myself so badly that I need a liposuction to start working on MFC.

It might be a shocker to some but beauty has little to do with earnings. There's a girl on CB who has some serious syndrome so she is not what you would call cannonically attractive but she is so personable and sweet and nice she has great tippers regardless. Meanwhile hot chicks are a dime a dozen and they sit pretty on page 40 with 3 viewers. This is streaming and interaction is king so while being attractive does not hurt, having a personality is much more important than how you look.

I feel like every day is harder on CB despite I've been there for about 2 years and a half now and I used to get +60 viewers buuuut this week has been like no other in a long time, 8- 10 viewers who, luckily are my loved regulars, so my income is okay. What I what to point out is that viewers aren't that important on a site such as CB where there are tons of greys just waiting for us to do something. Despair and anxiety aren't your friends I recommend you to breathe in and out, keep streaming for long time taking breaks every two or three hours, reward yourself with a candy or 15 minutes nap, once you find the schedule that more people come to your room AND tip you can stick to that and stream a little bit less time. Remember that you only see the peek of every "succesful" person (considering succes is relative) but you'll never see what's in the deep. I think that it is all about merchandising, do you have a site to sell your videos? Many vids, Twitter, Reddit, Amateur porn, Pornhub, Only fans, etc... maybe you don't get a lot of users wanting to spend money on you BUT it helps to put you inside the industry, which, is SUPER competitive not only between streamers on CB but porn videos on any site. Every single person is different and special for something, even if you are a supernormal next door there are tons of people wanting YOU but merchandising is GOD. Chin up!! it takes more than a year to build an audience these days, I guess.

sounds Like cb is over saturated. And I agree even when I do get 150-200 most are anon and grey, and still only 1-2 ever tip, the rest get a free show.
However, after what I just determined I owe in federal and state taxes for my first year of camming, I am thinking earning more is NOT helping my tax situation, as I don’t have a lot of deductions. And may just work less.

Ive been struggling this week too but thank god to basically one lifesaver regular who makes up for it! My question is how long has it been this quiet for? Youve been doing it for over 2 years so surely you did well before? Do you have many good regulars? Ive been on cb for a year and a half and i think back and i always go through quiet patches and get really worried i wont be able to do it anymore then bam out of no where its fine again!

Joe_Blogswa his cb name btw has been my mod for 2 years. have not had a problem with him. He is my MOST trusted mod and i would trust him with anything! so yes im taking offence to this.. Nope, that’s the right Joe. I never forget names, especially the names of people who hurt me as much as he has. He’s even on my permanently banned list, for 11 months now. Just because he’s been your mod for 2 years doesn’t mean you know everything he does outside of your chatroom.

If you want to keep giving advice to models, go ahead and keep doing so. Go ahead and keep modding. However, I feel like it is my duty as a fellow model to share the experience I had with you. They’re free to believe or disbelieve. At least I was there to warn them. And like I said earlier, this forum is full of models. Get advice from people doing the same work as you, not those watching the work.

A person who is a mod means sh!t to me. As a fellow tipper if I see a mod give 'advice' to a model or make the room about themselves, I'll avoid that room like the plague.
If they think the are so great with advice and know it all, then they themselves can get verified and apply their so called expertise to themselves and see how it works for them.

This is exactly my point again. You were in my room every single day for at least a few hours a day for MONTHS. Always dark purple. You always told me my stream was your favorite stream and that you enjoyed your time in my room yet you did not tip me ONCE. I was hurt by the fact that you always let all the other tippers in my room do all the work since you could CLEARLY contribute. So I banned you. You were even in my room when I banned you, yet in your earlier post you were acting like I did it without you even knowing about it. Now you're acting as if I mistook YOUR username when I saw you in other camrooms talking shit about ME. Calling me a selfish bitch that is greedy for tokens. All I wanted was appreciation for my streams. I'm not asking for much, just proof that you're enjoying my shows as much as you obviously enjoy your other rooms. I will not mistake your username.
