Im very new to MFC and am waiting until I'm SURE I'm ready to do my first show, one of my biggests concerns is filling in that "dead time" Im very outgoing but I wanted to do a couple chats without any nudity first just to get the jitters out before i put myself out there like that. Would I get criticized if I dont drop the clothes my first time and just try to have a fun/flirty and engaging conversation? If not what are some ways I can get and keep there attention.. I know everyone says the same thing to be yourself but it doesnt quite help me topic wise.. All the topics to chats I see are pricing and what they will do for so many tokens, can I just put up a regular topic like a question or subject and still get members to stay on my page? My worry was if I tried to have an intellectual conversation while still keeping that sex appeal that they would just hassle me to take my clothes off. Any advice will help!

It doesn't matter if you keep your clothes on or take them off, but remember that MFC is an adult-oriented site, and that most members are men and that our wallets are connected to our penises which are connected to our eyes.

HOWEVER, you need to give members a reason to stop by your room, and to stay in your room. We don't know you, so it's hard to say what specifically you should do.

The best thing for you to do would be to spend a few days visiting other models and watch them work their rooms. You will be a stranger to everyone, so observe how they deal with first time visitors and what works and what doesn't.

Work on a music playlist or two. Make sure your sound doesn't suck, because that's a big turn-off. A lot of members hang around in rooms where they like the music that's playing. Some of them like to talk about music.

Good luck, bb.

I didn't do any nudity at all the first month I was on MFC, at least not in public chat. I would go down to underwear in group, and topless in private. Can't speak for the success of all models, but I still made 6K tokens my first day, was online for maybe 6-7 hours. If someone started pressuring me to do more, be it in public chat or private, I would tell them that I wasn't ready, simple as that. Looking back at my records, a good portion of the tokens I made from the first three days were in group, and that was mostly me chatting with people and I was just in my lingerie.

A few things I can recommend when starting out:
-Turn PMs off. Set them to friends only, charge no less that 100 tokens to be added to the list. As a new model, you will get SWARMED with PMs from people who never intend to tip you, and they are looking for someone naive to take advantage of. They will take up so much of your time, and any specialized attention should be paid for unless you want to give it at your discretion. If someone wants to take you private, ask them to send you an MFC mail and if they seem serious, then add them to PM if you want. This is the one regret I have when I started, I should have paid a lot more attention to everyone as a whole in public chat.

-Focus on public chat, and the chat aspect of it if that is what you are going for. Greet people who come into your room, talk to people who are chatting. I didn't block guests and basics when I started, but if you get too many trolls, don't feel bad about muting them.

-If you're comfortable with it, try to offer prizes. A video perhaps, or do a raffle for a half hour skype date after you're done for the evening (doesn't have to be nudity either, just one on one chatting). I didn't have anything when I started, but it would have helped if I did!

-There are lots of non-nude options out there until you get more comfortable with everything :) Dancing, games, jokes, tips for songs, the ideas go on and on.

I'm non-nude, and yes, when I was new, people hassled me and tried to take advantage of me being new to try to get me to do things I didn't plan on doing.
"You'll never make money if you don't get naked." Not true.
"You know -insert model here- just got naked and now she's getting a ton of tips." Great! I'm really glad that works for her. I am not -insert model here-
"This is a porn site, it's supposed to be sexual." Yes! That is true! And lots of people really love the way I dance and tease.

As for filling dead time, that's tough. The only thing I can say is to always be doing something. I fill silences with dancing.
Yeah, a lot of girls use topics for countdowns and prices, or to advertise their content, but some girls find that topics without those things create a more relaxed and laid back room.
There is no magic formula that works for everyone. I prepared out the wazoo for my first shift, and it still wasn't what I expected.
You definitely should get verified, though! There's lots of great information to read in models only. :) Good luck!
