Annoying things members do

:lol: It seems I am an obnoxious goof. I always pm with models I am friends with. The models I visit don't dance around or play games, however, so pming does not really disrupt the room. The models still chat with the room and with the members in pm (I know my favourite model PMs with 4-5 more of her regulars including me, while also chatting with the room. I guess she is just skilled.

I'm sure some models don't mind it, know some models do it to make members feel special, some studio models are told to talk in pm. Just rarely ever see a need for a member to initiate the pm. The room might be more sociable and fun if they would all talk in the room.

Studio models PMing is the most annoying thing I encountered on MFC. You are quite right; they are told to do it. Too bad their bosses are too stupid to realize how counterproductive it is.

I do agree that PMing too much can lead to dead rooms; I never understood why a guy can't PM and chat in the room. I do regularly, and never found it difficult.

What I do hate is when a guy sends a PM and then tells the model in public chat that he PMed her. This seems slightly psychotic and needy to me. I guess the way I see the PM issue is that there is a good time and a bad to do it. If the model is working the room, I see no reason to interrupt her.

And again, I see that even this would not work in the top 20 rooms. I think all models should charge for PM privileges, and cut guys off if they abuse it.

I can see this not working in the top 20 (or 100 even rooms). Those rooms tend to have way too many people for the model to keep up with, so it makes sense for her to not PM that much. I would not even bother trying to PM in those rooms. The rooms I am in tend to have around 30-50 guys, so it's far easier for the model to keep up.

Regarding PM windows, there is (or was) a trick that seemed to make the model unaware of the guy being there. All you had to do was open the PM window as a guest, leave it open, and then log in. It seemed to keep you in the same PM window, which the model had no idea about. A VERY creepy guy told me this and I only tried it once, because it felt like spying in a woman's bedroom window. I really hope MFC has fixed that.

The problem is members who chat by PM to the exclusion of chat in public. I will also PM with a model briefly about something that really doesn't belong in public chat. It's surprising how quickly a person or two in PM can bring public chat to a screeching halt, though I will concede that it depends on a model's ability to multi-task.

Holy fuck the daughter with cancer post is awful..

I actually had a semi-reg who claimed he had cancer. Only he'd use it to try to guilt me into things.

He asked in public chat "how much to shave your head" and I laughed it off and said "too much. I love my moehawk!" He derailed the conversation aggressively by repeating the question while we were trying to get to showtime. He kept pushing and suddenly no one was talking. I went to respond to him in PM at which point he said, in freechat, "No PMs, we talk about it out here." :/

Then later in conversation in freechat he mentioned about taking drugs, some guy made an offhanded comment about "ooh drugs? share plz!" at which point he went on about how it was cancer medication and that he was dying.

Then one day we were making conversation in freechat. After I refused to automatically agree with him he said something along the lines of "This conversation is over". I was actually just about to change subjects but then I felt I couldn't because fuck him, he does not dictate the events of my room. So I kept talking, and he left. He sent me a MFC mail saying "This is goodbye" and never came back. It was a massive relief.

In retrospect I wish I had banned him awhile ago.
I was way too tolerant of his behavior. I considered him a friend and I guess I held out hoping he'd go back to being the guy that he previously was..

They ask me what their friends and relatives will be going through, and I give them the same sugar coated lies I told people about my treatments. The thought of people dragging up those memories for other people for no reason at all makes me surprisingly mad. People can be so uncaring.

LoL.. I hate those needy fucks too.. When you're a constant reg in a room, you can usually tell about those guys and when they will be using the "exiting for attention" thing. Kinda similar to the needy guy, the guy that just needs too much attention or just talks too much or rushes to answer questions for or asked by the model.
