I don't really think the tags will bring anything to MFC except LOL or WTF moments. Still totally worth it just for that though.
Well whether you call them 'tags' or 'categories', I'm assuming the original idea (which was one members have tossed around for ages) is to create a number of accurate descriptors, preferably not pointless and subjective ones like 'sexy', so that if I want a pregnant amputee for example, I can find one without clicking through 900 models or asking around like a pest.
A member being able to locate the kind of girl/fetish/whatever he is interested in is good for mfc, the girl, and the member.
Used properly, it can be a way for models to attract their customers to them. Used improperly it's a useless joke.

I just meant while since I've been back on MFC I've used them properly (but my tags are really simple & too the point), but maybe the admins should have a word limit on it (like instead of "massive tits for 300 tokens bb" the model could only put "massive tits" or something similar). I think that would stop a lot of the odd shit going on. Of course, every chick wants to be in her own category, alone, but fuck. I mean come on. Do you really need to put a token amount as a tag?

Yeah, definitely not taking this shit seriously. I think I'm going to think up really bizarre descriptions and change them every once in a while just to amuse myself.
I mean, I can't look through the tags without laughing and some of them are "super srs tags" and some of them are.. I don't even know.
The asian models mostly have no idea with the tags thing. A few examples from the few that are using it.

I would like to see MFC add an additional box on the model tags page in the model admin page that has 50-100 of the most common descriptive tags words "Hot, pretty, sexy, funny, etc etc" alongside would be simple check box they pick the 10 or so that they want. If they want to manually make their own they still can choose to.
Doing it this way would also remove most of the spelling issues.

well now that they added camscore in...as of right at this moment blondes not only have more fun apparently, they also have higher camscore than any other category including the far more populated "sexy" lol

Like "sexy" "hot" or whatever and it inserts them into the 8 tag sections. Which would standardize things and turn it into something more sensible. Only 8 tags is kind of kind of limiting also..

Country tags "USA" "Romania" "Philippines" etc

Eye Colour

I'm glad to see it return only online models - but I still think it could be improved, or incorporated into the search function too (filter by tags).
Basically being able to select several tags - so Brunette & Romania to return the currently online Brunette Romanians (just an example).

what if those questions at the top of our profile were automatically tags, and then we choose 8 others based on what our cam style is like?
Maybe if members could rate the tags it could work better. If a girl tags herself as "big tits" just to be listed there, members could rate her up or down. If she gets too many "down", she would be removed from that tag or maybe placed on the bottom of the list.
Better than letting the members tag freely and it would also avoid girls from abuse this feature. But I'm already seeing girls asking to rate their tags... "Don't forget to tip, admire, rate profile... and now, rate the tags too".
Also, it would be handy if the "Hide model" function was available there. I have found some potential models who could join my hidden squad.

I didn't think this deserved its own thread, but I thought I'd bring it up.
If you are the type of model who likes to change her name, normally to have fun with your room, you may want to put the model name you are best know under in your tags. If a member does a model search from the home page and you are online, you will still pop up with in the tag section, even if it would be impossible to find you by name otherwise.

What is the chance of getting the girls to add ACF to their tags? Just a thought and it may make it easier to find the girls from here when they are on.
