Age verification after years of broadcasting

I have been camming as an exhibitionist for many years on CB (nybear). No tokens in or out. All of the sudden, the other day I logged on to cam, exactly as I have for years, and age verification was being required. I thought age verification was only needed if I wanted to receive tokens.

Is this a mistake or the new normal?

I believe they changed it to requiring ID - we noticed we have since gained a lot more traffic into our room since they introduced the new policy as Verified Models.
