So I have been on chaturbate tonight and my room is pretty dead. I am waiting for somebody to tip, set my goal and the wheel bot really low and the most viewers I have had at a time is 5. The room is super dead, and every time I try to start a conversation people leave. How do you break the ice? Also, how do you tell who does & doesn't have tokens on chaturbate

For telling people with tokens apart, Chaturbate users are colour-coded: grey users have no tokens, light blue own tokens/have purchased tokens, dark blue have tipped 50 recently, light purple have tipped 250 recently and dark purple tipped 1000 recently. CB understands recently to be two weeks so dark purple have tipped 1000 in last 14 days, colour code doesn't say how many tokens currently are owned by user (except for greys who are indicated as having none).

Hope this helps, i'll leave tips on conversation to others more skilled at that aspect.

If you sort your room occupant list by token amounts, you'll get a general idea. Anyone listed higher than you, has more tokens than you, and lower, fewer tokens.

Yes to everything said above and some ice breakers i like to use is commenting on their username and saying its funny or ask them how they came up with it. Sounds weird but it works to start conversation. And of course saying hi and how are you. Ask how their day is, if they just got of work or what time it is. Things like that. Dont be discouraged if they dont reply to leave right away. Im pretty successful and people still straight up leave sometimes. All you need is a few people to talk back :)

honestly,if the room is dead- usually anyone who pops in,regardless of tokens, i find it helps to greet and as how theyre doing or simply just say "hi whats up",smiling and doing what i can to seem friendly and approachable usually works too, once you get one person hooked into conversation,it will all come together. funny enough basic users always seem to be the ones who keep the room lively, atleast in my experience anyway :p
