Many hide the truth in the fine print. You have to weed them out, yes.

  1. They advertise an "anonymous service" on their website but the fine print in their privacy policy suggests they log a significant amount of customer data.
  2. They advertise an "anonymous service" on their website, but their privacy policy simply says "we don't log" without further explanation or detail.

Privateinternetaccess (PIA) for example has this in their fine print.
PrivateInternetAccess.com does not collect or log any traffic or use of its Virtual Private Network ("VPN") or Proxy.

Torrentfreak looked into several VPN companies. PIA replied with this (more on webpage)

1. We do not log, period. This includes, but is not limited to, any traffic data, DNS data or meta (session) data. Privacy IS our policy.

2. We choose to operate in the US in order to provide no logging service, as there is no mandatory data retention law in the US. Additionally, our beloved clients are given access to some of the strongest consumer protection laws, and thus, are able to purchase with confidence.

3. We do not monitor our users, period. That said, we have a proprietary system in place to help mitigate abuse.

4. We utilize SendGrid as an external mailing system and encourage users to create an anonymous e-mail when signing up depending on their adversarial risk level. Our support system is in-house as we utilize Kayako.

5. We have a proprietary system in place that allows us to comply in full with DMCA takedown notices without disrupting our users’ privacy. Because we do not log our users’ activities in order to protect and respect their privacy, we are unable to identify particular users that may be infringing the lawful copyrights of others.

6. We do not log and therefore are unable to provide information about any users of our service. We have not, to date, been served with a valid court order that has required us to provide something we do not have.

Basically with a VPN it all comes down to trusting them or not. If you don't, don't use one. After looking at pretty much all of them out there and doing a lot of research, I do.
At least, my trust in them to do what they say they are doing is much greater than my trust in the government. PIA 'may' not be telling the truth and keeping logs, but i KNOW the NSA is. So I'll keep using one.

Most of the sites don`t have specific rules regarding VPNs but they aren`t agreeing with that. Using public VPN services and/or proxies which identifies themselves as VPN/Proxy will surely get your ass banned. Not even PRO/Paid VPN services aren`t offering you full anonymity and you always might get into the same IP that another model streams.
Do not use public vpn lists ever. They are monitored.
The best way avoiding that is to use private VPN server which you own or VS machine which buy from different sellers depending on what country you want to appear like living and avoid identification of your IP address as a VPN/Proxy address.

And all will cost you $20 / month with basic package. For a shared Pro VPN service you pay from $8 to $19 / month.
I don`t think your budget is that low so you can`t afford a VPN on a VPS as long as you afford a paid VPN service.

And you were disagreeing on what ? Teaching you not to use public VPN services. My bad then. Do whatever you know best.

Do you even work for a cam site?

I`m not working for any cam site. I`m not streaming. I am a programmer and i have set up enough VPNs for independent models who wanted to register themselves from UK in adultwork.

What i gave you earlier is one of the many options you have over the internet. You only need to search based on advice you get.

Do all cam sites ban members from using VPNs?

They don`t actually know that you are using a VPN unless you`re identified by that. And no, that's why they don`t have a policy regarding VPNs. There are countries where porn is forbidden and only way they can access a camsite is trough VPN. And camsites want their money too. If illegal activity or fraud is made trough that VPN of course it will be banned.

But wont they already know were you live from your billing address?

I have CC released by a bank in Canary Island. That means that i must live there ?
With actual online banking anyone can have any card from almost any bank in the world. That doesn`t mean that you actually live there.
Another point, i made my card half year ago with a billing address. Meantime i moved to another country but still using that card. Is there any prove that i actually live there ?
