Account banned by Myfreecams

I'm getting an error message when trying to sign in to my premium account, this is the third day of the problem.

"We were unable to authenticate your account. Contact us for assistance. Sorry for the inconvenience."

It would be nice if the message gave a little more information, if my account is banned/suspended/frozen for security, whatever the case may be.

The only thing out of the ordinary that may coincide is I made a basic account the night before the problem started and was being whimsical - I asked a model if she did macrophilia, which she instantly banned me for

To be fair macophilia does sound a little sinister but it just means pretending to be a giantess

So I'm not sure if the problem was having another account on the same IP or the model reported me

I've emailed them twice with messages along the lines oh "hello, I'm unable to sign in to my premium account, getting this error message *message* could you help me with this issue please?"

No reply as of yet

I asked a model to ask for me last night, was hoping her asking might of prompted them to do something by this morning but no such luck.

As someone who has spent a fair amount of money on the site over the years, it's disappointing their customer service is so slow. I'm also starting to get concerned that I'm just banned and they can't be bothered to reply to me; hopefully that's not the case.

I will wait a couple of days and if I still have no response after two emails from myself and one from a model, I will be concerned :chicken:

ps. I realise there are already a number of threads like this one, but none seem to have given any real updates after their initial post, so I will detail how long it took to get resolved and the reason they gave for blocking my account (assuming they give one and assuming they reinstate it) to help others with a similar problem if they find this thread via search
 
@MFCGod Sorry this happened to you. Unless they read it as necrophilia, I highly doubt you'd get banned over macrophilia. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, but I recall a couple of other accounts having this happen, and it turned out to be an accident. Definitely go through support, and clarify the situation. Side note stemming from curiosity: Please let us know if you get back in, but if it does have to do with macrophilia, please mention that as well...I used to do a lot of macrophilia stuff on MFC, and am curious as to whether they considered the fetish banworthy. All I can think of is maybe if they consider the sometimes "cruel giantess" aspect too violent even though it's only able to be done through imagination/roleplay. It's ridiculous if they do. :shake:

I think if a model complains, they don't care to look too much into the reason why, they will just give you a warning or ban.

I can't think there would be any problem at all with macrophilia itself being as it's such an innocuous and harmless fetish.

Maybe it's just the making a new account thing, but loads of people have more than one premium/basic account don't they so who knows.

I got my account/s locked up after I made more than premium status account. I didn't do anything wrong/inappropriate. I guess because I used more than one card from the same IP address on my premium accounts I got flagged as potential CC fraud or something. I emailed model support even though it was 2 of my premium accounts and they dealt with it asap, but told me not to do that again. I know that doesn't apply to OP, but just so others know. They aren't keen on multiple CCs coming from one IP address if they are being used on multiple accounts. (WHICH I WOULD HAVE NEVER HAD TO DO IF THEY WOULD HAVE JUST INCREASED SPENDING LIMITS, lol.)
 
@NerdieBirdie Yup, I had that once when I used my new card after getting divorced. Name didn't match completely/different card, so they panicked and suspended mine.

A had a model email for me about 20 hours ago, still no help as of yet

I have 3500 ish reward points, which compared to some isn't many, but is still a fair chunk of money

You would think they could get back to me in three days, even just to say "you're banned and not welcome" if that is the case (I don't see why it should be )

That is a long time, I have never had it take more than 3 or 4 hours to hear back from support. Even when my account was only 3 days old and I wanted to know how long until my purchase limit was raised, they replied in a few hours and raised my limit for me.

I haven't had to resort to contacting MFC support about anything often, but I think it's a little early to panic. Some inquiries take some looking into, and there may be a backlog.

In future, however, I'd stick with humour you are sure will not be misunderstood by models.

Nope, same error message

@Sevrin I can't think a model would report a basic just because they asked if she does macrophilia, unless they really thought it was something sinister, but surely then you would google it first

But who knows
 
Have you tried emailing them again? 3 days does seem a long time and maybe the original one fell throught the cracks somewhere. The only time I ever emailed support I had a reply in a few hours.

ps. I know what a lot of models reading this thread are probably thinking.."if they don't let him back, we will strike!" and all though I appreciate the support, this is your work and it's not worth jeopardizing that for me, but I sincerely thank you.
 
First thing I would do is to get MFC to resend your account details and passwords. Second would be check flash, clear cookies and so on.
I have heard that if it is a problem on your end, something you can fix, MFC tends to not reply. Other than that you can only keep on trying, I have never been able to get hold of support when I needed it, but others seem to have had less trouble.

I don't know if they have the same team working on models' messages and members' messages, but I sent them a request for a duplicate 1099 10 minutes ago and it was rejected in like 3 minutes flat. :rolleyes:

Had my account locked down twice (suspicious cc activity). Both times straightened out within 12-24 hours. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but looks like it's BongaCams for you from here on out.

You have been deemed unworthy.
 
If no luck by next week, I might ask a few models that I'm friendly with to mail MFC for me

Maybe if enough models vouch for me that will do something.

Good idea or bad idea?

Why have they banned your premium account when it was your basic account which you feel may have caused the problem?

I think when they block an account, it does every account on that IP

I just tweeted the model in question explaining and asking is she reported me, she said she did not

I thought it seemed very unlikely but that was the only thing I could think of :s

I'm really at a loss as to the reason why now
 
That sucks. Have you tried tweeting at them? Sometimes that gets companies to respond.

I don't think it is just IP. Had a couple of accounts frozen. Separate IP's, emails, everything. Got the main one back after some back and forths, but the alternate is still unable to buy or get tokens transferred to it. Ah well.

I actually have no idea what they think I've done, I'm quite shocked tbh

Not to sound too loserish but working from home, MFC is a big part of my life, it's really nice to have people to chat to and be social with.

I just emailed MFC again asking politely what has happened..

Without them replying all I'm left with are far fetched ideas :s, like:

Maybe my bank or paypal have charged back on something and they didn't get their money when I got tokens - but everything looks fine

Maybe someone has a grudge against me and has reported me for something I haven't done

Maybe MFC saw my youtube videos and were upset I used screen shots of the website

Maybe they're upset I used "myfreegoblin" on youtube or twitter because they don't like people using myfree..

I doubt you've done anything wrong. Don't beat yourself up. Humans. make. mistakes. even gross ones happen all the feckin' time and I doubt MFC have many resources to look into your issue, and if there is any doubt while investigating, it's easy to say the previous decision stands.
