just have a question about this part of the performer agreement:
'I hereby grant to Site the right to distribute my Services through any and all media now existing or hereinafter created including without limitation on the Site.'
What exactly does this mean? Does it mean that my identity could be displayed on other websites? Could someone please explain it to me? Thanks.

Yep, my understanding is that it means they can use your pictures/video in advertising or wherever else they want. That includes even after you've closed your account. I'm not sure how common it is on Chaturbate, some sites utilize that more than others, but I think most of them include that in their agreement.

Thanks for the response. Does this mean that they can distribute my ID (name, age verification pictures etc.) to other sites?
I remember reading something about chaturbate using peoples ID's for online dating sites.

Oh, no. That is not what that part of the performer agreement refers to. That is regarding your video feed while broadcasting on the site. They won't share your ID with other sites.

I believe that the dating site you are talking about is xprofiles, which belongs to the same company that owns Chaturbate. A long time ago, when they launched Chaturbate, models were being shown on xprofiles as they were members there, with full profiles and everything. They don't do this anymore and I think all auto-profiles are gone now. Even on this case, the models IDs were not shared there.

The ID and age verification are required for legal reasons only: http://chaturbate.com/2257/

I've personally seen ads on other sites, not even cam sites and not even ads for cam sites using photos models had uploaded to their profile.
I have some screen caps I'd grabbed to show 2 models I was/am friends with but I don't think it would be good form to post them here without their permission

It's akin to that policy facebook adopted a while back that cause somewhat of an uproar where they claimed the right to sell any photos anyone had uploaded.

This is absolutely correct. We would never share your personal information.

Recording our using unauthorized images of our broadcasters is against our terms. We'll even send DMCA's on the broadcasters behalf.

A friend of mine never cammed, just posted lots of selfies on Tumblr and Twitter. Her photos got taken as well and used to advertised dating sites as well; she was pretty pissed. So anybody good-looking who posts photos online, be aware of this, haha. Its not just camsites who'll sell your photos, sketchy companies will just take them when they see them.

Yeah, it doesn't necessarily mean the images were sold by the cam site. Anyone can grab a pic and use it for their own means but it does say in most agreements that they can use your likeness in any way they please.
