A Public Chaturbate Thread

Hey all. There's a thread in the Model's Only section regarding Chaturbate. However, I know it's not a site limited to female models. So I was gonna see if the greater wide world of ACF would like to offer insight and opinions as to this particular camsite.

Now I've not been camming long. I started on MFC, did SM for a bit, and dabbled with C4S and ELM. I primarily just hang out on CB now, mostly because my other half Rooster really wanted to cam with me. So, we make a fair amount together, and we are combined able to reach a daily goal in a reasonable amount of time. Our primary income so far is camming, even though we have other jobs.

So, my questions for you guys, models and members alike:

What is your favorite app? Why?
How do you generally structure your shows?
Do you perform in public? If not, how far do you go in public?
Models: What are your rules, regarding PM privilges, Mod privileges, etc?
If CB is the main site you cam on, why do you prefer it over other sites?

I don't use an app. I streamed on my phone sometimes, until I got an external webcam.

How do you generally structure your shows?

Freelance! I do whatever whenever, and I would rather take requests over having a menu.

Do you perform in public? If not, how far do you go in public?

I don't (yet?).

Models: What are your rules, regarding PM privilges, Mod privileges, etc?

I only PM and Mod friends. I have no other mods, and everyone else gets ignored.

If CB is the main site you cam on, why do you prefer it over other sites?

CB is my only site now, but I have MFCs as a backup, because I've heard CB has issues.

Why do so few CB models put pics on their bio/profile page?

I guess becouse noone cares, guys jusnt enter to the room they dont look at profile . On mfc everyone invest a lot of energy in profile, on cb not even 1 picture

yes happend same to me last 2 days, been discoencted like 5 times in 3 hours even from private , I thought is splitcam so i reinstaled it , but maybe was an cb issue ?

I think you are right about that. I barely look in the bio's on chaturbate but when i'm on mfc i always look at the profile. The rating is what me interests mostly when i'm in a room for the first time.

Hi. Is it a problem lately wirh the website? So far i was getting hundreds of users till last month when it dropped to under 100 almost everyday and its harder to get on the first page. I see now on first page models with less users so i guess Chaturbate changed something in the algotithm or lost traffic because it s a slower month? It s not in my head it really happened my avg per hour was 60- 80$ almost for 2 years and it dropped this month to 30 . The show it s the same even if they get borred i dont think they got bored in just 1 week around the update so i think some algotighm changes or some probolems with website traffic or just the worst month so far due to Pandemics... anyone happened similar? A lot of models told me the same they need to work twice to get the same money ( Ps REGULARS still tip but new users very very hard) they seem like they dissapeared i was having 100 lovers and now about 10... my regulars are keeping me alive now.

ok so he seems to be right , seems like chaturbate change things, i guess they wanna help other models and put them first page with 200, 300. 400 users and other with more users in the back, for example tonight i had 770 users and in 10 y with this users was no problem always first page , tonight same users second page in middle .... while on first lots with half users . I understand everyo ne wanna be on first page but i dont think is fare .. Is exactly like on other sites ,., u kill yourself years and hours online to grow your camscore but your site put u down on page becouse they wanna help also girls without enough camscore .. I really hope things will go back to normal ... what is helping us to have lots users if we gonna end up down on last pages ..

Anyway the only thing that made me feel like im not the only one affected was to see in my back on page Wetdream111 , wich we all know her potential and tons of money she was doing. Now she is stuck with 300..500 users and 10 times less tips in goal like before .. with almost 1 million folowers .. But things are always changing what is this week maybe wont be next week , lets hope will be normal again , and normal is a girl with over half milion of followers means she is hardworking girl and deserve her place on first page coz she worked hard for it

I just discovered cbhours.com and am wondering about the social media button creator - it has options for adding onlyfans and pornhub links. I wasn't sure if this allowed? Last year I had my OF link on chaturbate and I want to add it back but will I get in trouble? Will a link to PH get me in trouble?

It also has CB ranks and I am so confused how I can rank in the top 500-900 most shifts but I am only making but a few dollars. Is this a real chaturbate rank or is it based on hours worked?

You are joking?!? I only have 15-20 ppl in my room on average and make $0-$30 per day. If it wasn't for split streaming, I couldn't afford to work on CB at all. I am filled with sadness for the paychecks of so many women if this is true

to clarify, the rank is (for example) numbers 1-20,000 and I am in the top 1000 or is it like an MFC camscore? Is it just for that hour/time worked and because I am on day shift their are less people making money?

That's only placement ranking, how much models make isn't factored in.

Yes rank is simply the position on the featured list, gender rank is the position on your specific genders list (be advised the few models that disable network sites will not be counted in ranking so the number is not 100% accurate but its usually close). Rank on cbhours doesn't factor in models that are offline at the time, so its just your position out of the other 6000-10000 models broadcasting at the time.

As far as I know OF is still allowed as long as you don't live stream there or something like that. I'm not aware of a rule against pornhub but if there is certainly let me know.

There's no ranking based on earnings on Chaturbate.

CBhours depicts rank based on the place on the website. If you rank 500 then at the time that you were broadcasting (and only in that moment) you hit rank #500 as the highest during your broadcast. Which means that you placed somewhere around page 6 (with 90 cams per page).

The ranking on the CB site is based on the algorithm they use, which they change up every once in awhile, and takes multiple factors into account. They don't share the exact workings of the algorithm. Overall earnings are not taken into account, though tokens bought/spent in the moment do seem to have a bit of an impact based on my own experience. But someone on page 10 with 1 high tipper will not be catapulted onto the frontpage just by that 1 factor alone.

CB explorer (another website) shows ranking based on new followers & total viewers. Which depicts a bit of a notion of "popularity", but it's a somewhat skewed measure as well, which doesn't really have a full meaning in terms of success in earnings (just like placement rank doesn't)

You mean similar to stripchat? Where you can set yourself as "away" and it basically goes into a "private show mode"?
I put a password on my room and started the broadcast to have a look for this and see how it is but I could not see it anywhere.
I have my account verified and I am "classed" as a "broadcaster" because it's age verified, so I should also see this option.

Is the option still there for you and if so where exactly? Can you show a screenshot of it?

hi, Brett . Is a new boot , peep mode bot is called . if for example i have pvt on stripchat, i dont need to close chaturbate page anymore, i just start this boot and people can pay to spy ,

Ok I'm soooo confused by the peep mode bot.....I've just started using it and it doesn't really appear to change anything. As soon as I get a pvt on another site I click activate, which then takes me to the "charge this many tokens/min" and then start pop up, but then once I do, people are still talking and tipping in my room. I'm not complaining about the tips, but I want a bot where they are literally just silently spying by the minute and can't talk which I do my private. Is there a different bot like this? Or is peep mode just glitching and that's what it's actually supposed to do? I end up closing CB everytime I get a private because it still says my stream is public, not hidden or anything.

I am using Shine Browser, so when i start broadcasting and when i open chaturbate , i put price for peep bot (30tk) i start bot and i go on . If i have pvt on another site , after i accept the private, shine is asking me what i wanna do next , , there are 3 options and i push the option - go spy mode where is posible . After this all other sites are on spy mode and on cb is hidden and guys who are tipping 30tk can watch 1 min ...
