Yes, technically a grey user could use their bank card to purchase a FanClub subscription. However, as with any FC subscription, the model is still paid the 100, 200 or 500 token amount per month, depending on which tier the user purchases.

I understand they CAN, but the reality is that they are pirating videos of models. I tell the models I knight for to monitor their fan club members and permanently ban any gray name user that purchases a fan club membership and never tips them as well as members that buy fan club memberships that never tip or they never see in the room when they are online. I guess the money is more important to stripchat.

I'm sorry, this is a really bad attitude to have about this. People buy fan club on CB and don't tip. It's not like pirating is some new concept that none of us are aware of, money in our pocket is money in our pockets and we really don't care how it got there as long as it's legit and everyone is happy.

The models I knight for do not want to be exposed beyond the site. They do not want videos on twitter or telegram because where these women come from it can be devastating for them. In this case "everyone" is not happy.

Well, that is the nature of the business. Maybe spend your free time sub'ing DMCA takedowns for them or hey here's a super slick idea, stop uploading videos you know can be stolen by anyone at any time with a little jingle jangle in their pocket. Risk assessment belongs to the broadcaster.

Risk assessment and mitigation belong to the broadcaster and banning them is one way to mitigate the risk. The models submit links to support to get videos removed.

Thank you for your feedback.

Unfortunately there is always a risk of internet content being pirated.

Also, please keep in mind that we are a Freemium platform, not a Premium one. This means that users on our platform do not have to tip, nor do they have to tip if they purchase a fanclub membership. Obviously our models hope that all users will buy tokens and tip them, and as a knight you are welcome to encourage the users to tip the amazing models that you assist.

How are some ways that we help our models?
-If a model finds their Stripchat content has been stolen and posted elsewhere, they can paste the links on their Settings & Privacy page in the DMCA box for the pirated content to be removed.
-We give models the freedom to ban any user that they want to, for any reason, no questions asked on our end.

Not everybody is pirating in that situation. Some users feel like the fan club route is just a cheaper way to support a model, getting content and maybe free spying out of it. Plus the model will usually PM with fan club members, which they wouldn’t get otherwise. They’re paying something, not like greys who just sit in rooms all day asking for free shit

since users can record id like us models to be able to record as well free chat or ticket/group shows sometimes build up to something that id like to keep. yes i could do with obs but that then makes my stream very laggy.

Those are two different things. If the first case is true, by all means ban. But if you are just assuming every grey who joins a fan club does this you are likely wrong

I do not know that all are but some have been stupid enough to use the same username when posting videos online...lol

Well, clearly those you know are doing it should be banned but I would be careful about generalizing beyond that

after every show i put all my chats into my archive/requests folder that are not knight/fanclub members and noticed sometimes it shows the normal number but sometimes only a handful of chats (usually those days the chats also are only visible to a week back instead of where they started)

BUT i never had negative numbers of chats bingo card?

I have made this suggestion before, but I don’t think since @Stella_SC became the Stripchat liaison.

It would be VERY helpful to have some way to sort the models in the “My Collection” tab. As a user who has been on the platform for a while and have lots of purchased content, it would be great to either have sort options (most recent, oldest, # of content items, alpha order, etc) , or a way to favorite models, or something like that. There are some models who have been off the platform for a while but I still like to watch their content because they were really great, but over time these get buried and I have to go 4-5 pages deep to find their stuff

Also a way to title, index, add notes or something to recorded private and public shows. Sometimes a model does something amazing in the middle of a 45-minute PVT and being able to mark that for future viewing would be super

Sort options in general: viewercount, alphabet, time online. and a reverse option from high to low.
And not only for your favorites but in general front page...

A sort option for gallery/videos/photos for models profiles is the most helpful as well. That's something that would really improve the experience.
Some models have hundreds of videos and/or photo sets (short, long, whatever)... would be nice if we the users could have some filters/sort options, as well as allowing models to put them into some predefined categories to be found easier, and maybe also have tags.

Predefined filter options/tags could be just basic ones like "boobs", "naked", "solo", "boy/girl" (and similar), "striptease", "feet", "pussy", "arse/ass" and some fetish ones too.


Many models don't name their videos or photos properly so you have literally no idea what they are, so you don't buy them, when if they told you what they are with tags, you could much more easily find what you want to buy, benefiting both the user and model (and the site)

I wanted to comment that SC's method of suggesting 'recommended' models seems to be very accurate, at least for me.
But I'm curious about how the platform comes up with suggestions under the 'promising and just your type' category?
The other categories visible on my home/landing page are typically fully populated with room thumbs, but the 'promising/just your type' can often have only 3-4 suggestions.
What's the difference in how that specific category is suggested?

(And appreciate you may not be able to clarify this for commercial reasons, but maybe other users have the same observation?)

I was wondering if an API for getting tip info, chat messages etc... would ever be possible for Stripchat? It would open a lot of possibilities for better overlays and toy support.

Something like Chaturbates Longpoll Event Feed https://chaturbate.com/apps/api/docs/rest.html or the https://joystick.tv bot API could work.
Having some way to sync data between sites for apps would be incredible and Stripchat would likely benefit. I'll explain why...

• A lot of Models use a combination of Stripchat and Joystick.tv because of the ability to play video games freely on both. Joystick is no where near as big as Stripchat so I wouldn't say their is as much competition there.
• Similarly Stripchat and Chaturbate are the 2 largest free public streaming platforms so a fair few Models stream on both sites

It would also allow Chaturbate Bot Developers who are already well established and know a fair bit to port their work to Stripchat as well so you really get a group of experienced developers without much effort. All the apps on Chaturbate are licensed under an open MIT-0 license anyway.

Then in addition for companies like Motorbunny who have an app for Chaturbate and Flirt4Free you're opening the chance for further integration.

None of this would require a full development environment. I think Chaturbate has spent a lot of time and effort on that and trying to replicate it would be difficult but just anything would be great. At the moment scraping the site is the only way to grab any realtime information and this obviously isn't appropriate.

Yeah I didn't entirely think this through haha I forget how much Chaturbate does under the hood. It would provide an avenue to port overlay code from Chaturbate if you know how to host an overlay and figure out how to add an equivalent to KV stores and events.

In the grand scheme of things though it's probably more useful for apps that are self hosted and already use the Longpoll JSON feed like the Motorbunny app.

I still think it would be a cool feature though to have the option at least for developers who know how to do this. I guess if Stripchat is worried about quality as well it adds a bit of a barrier of entry.

Obviously the Longpoll JSON feed only retrieves data so this is really discussing overlays in particular.

Thinking about this a bit more one cool thing you could do is relay data from Chaturbate to Joystick.tv so kind of run your apps in Chaturbate and then provide a link to another Joystick.tv app since bots can communicate with joystick.tv. I should probably see if I can make an API / wrapper for that tbh I could see it being useful.

Anyways sorry this is getting a bit off track. I ramble a lot .
