As my fansite project http://myfreewars.com did not started very well, I am planning to change it's use.

My new plan is:
Points will still be calculated from clicks on the models links. (http://myfreewars.com/modelname) (So it will kinda count the admirers maybe)
But the rankings will only be for models with lower camscores than 1000 (or 1250 maybe) and every month #1 will get a $100 amazon gift card. (It may or may not cause having some ads in pages im not sure)

So now I need to ask opinions of models:
- Would you join that game and why?
- Do you have any other suggestions to make it better?

Re: A fansite with rankings and amazon gift card rewards wor

So any girl with a camscore of under 1000 or 1250 can compete? That's a lot of girls competing for a $100 Amazon card...

Different competitions can be made up but it's what i planned first. As there is no ads on site now its what only my budget allows.

Any other suggestions?

I'm really not sure how well this is going to do, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?

Advertise the crapola out of it on twitter so girls entering also get promotion and you might just get somewhere!

Also, there are a ton of sites that run little contests (geekbauchery is the only one that comes to mind) so maybe implementing a voting system so girls could promote themselves would be helpful!

That's all I've got for ya, good luck!

Me being the cynical old dawg I am, I would ask, what do you get out of this random act of generosity?!

Re: A fansite with rankings and amazon gift card rewards wor

Coding little games or sites is my only fun when i'm at home. And its my pleasure to see people using my site and yes I CAN spend some spare dollars to fulfil my pleasure.

Voting system will be here if u have checed the site u can see the Lieutenants thing in it. Lieutenants will be members voted for the model. And alliances will be something like model groups.

As I saw this far I need a couple of models to use and promote my site first. And I hope that u can help me after I implement new systems on site.

I have some new ideas to share with you.

First of all I will change the name of the site. It will be modelwars.org and also mw.gs can be used as a short name.

Also models can make a war on other models. (Both parties should accept the war) Wars will be on having most clicks and most votes in a specified time (1 hour, 3 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc.)
The wars will cause losing of points for the loser and gaining points for the winner.

More to come...
